My favorite thing about my school is small class sizes, personal advisors, and the avialablity of professors. A a bigger school students may feel like a number, but at Lynn students are known by name to professors and they know your personal goals. We meet with advisors at least 3-4 times a year, and they always have office hours. Lynn is compassionate to all types of learners by having classes with different levels as well as the use of technology, lecture, and diolouge classes. The schools administration is very helpful and friendly, being on student goverment I have alot of engagment with professors, staff, and adminisrators, they can always lead me in the right direction to help make positive changes on campus. Our campus is unique because we are 50 {4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} international with brings many different languages and cultures to campus. One thing I would change is the Honors Program because I think we need to go back to having specific classes for the honors students so they are challanged both inside and outside the classroom. Another favorite thing I would say about my University is that we have a J-term which is a 2 week period where students can study abroad or complete a career exploration internship.

Nothing to do on campus. So go off. Don't have a car? Wouldn't come here if I were you. The school offers a shuttle service that runs in a 5 mile radius of campus. It runs 10-7 M-F, and 1-5 on weekends. So make sure you're done with whatever you're doing and call the shuttle before 7 on weekdays, or 5 on weekends or else you'll have to get back on your own, or wait til 10 W-Sun for the "safe ride" that is full of drunks. Also when calling to be picked up at Lynn to be driven, call ahead. You will have to wait until the shuttle comes back to campus .. which takes about 30 min-hr depending on who was dropped off before. Also expect the same in the ride, it's not just a straight ride, they need to make drop offs as well. If you like walking, the mall is only 2 miles away and is better than waiting for the van to take you there. Public transit runs by campus, but when asked about it no one seems to know of it .. or seems to know anyone who uses it.So within 5 miles there seems a lot .. beaches .. shops .. food .. all great .. if you have the money to spend on the expensive shops .. the beach is just a strip of sand .. and nothing to walk to, and if you get hungry all there is is like 3 cafes. Although walking to the mall is fun.Foods alright, but limited. Didn't make the dinning hall times? Try the grill that's open until 2a with the same greasy and over priced hot dog/hamburgers, etc. (20 items) or the cafe during the school day (10 food items, and 20 drinks) .. the dinning hall has the same hamburgers/hot dogs/fries, etc but also has some "specials" of one or two meals .. although they do have kool-aid :D .. Again, a walk to the mall and a little further you have 5 guys, hooters, cheesecake factory, and the mall's food.Love the interaction with the Prof. Kids seem engaged, and willing to learn. Tutoring IS available, use it.

I love the size of Lynn. I wish that things that are brought up to change would occur faster. I love the class size but I also wish more classes were offered. I would love to see more spirit because it is very minimal for all sports. I want school pride to shine at Lynn!

When you think of Boca Raton you think of an old retirement community, but most people are actually surprised by the number of college students and the amount of nightlife here. Boca is quickly developing into a college town. Across the street from Lynn is Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach Community…three colleges in one town makes for an exciting place to live.
