Madisonville Community College Top Questions

What kind of person should not attend this school?

Jeni

Someone who should not attend this school would be someone who does not plan on working hard. Although I attend a community college, the professors are still professors. They still treat everyone as college students, just as teachers should. If one wanted to skip class all the time, not turn in homework, or not study for exams he or she would not pass the classes. College is college and one should work hard no matter what to strive toward the greater goal of earning a degree.

I dont believe there is a certain type of person that "shouldn't" attend school. Its never a waste to find out what your nitch is in life. For me it took a lot of time, money, and thought to decide what I would want to earn my degree in. If you know exactly what you want, you should STILL consider starting at a 2 year school such as Madisonville's. It prepares you for a lot in college and the real world.

There isn't a type of person that shouldn't attend, the college has goals set to be welcoming and inviting to everybody. They offer tutoring for older students, and services for the disabled.
