I thought Manchester Community College was great and I am definitively recommending the college to my friends. It is cheap and everyone there is so nice and helpful. Even if it doesn't have the major you want, it is a good starting point to get out a lot of the classes you need for a lot less money and then transfer to a different college to finish up.
I think that Manchester Community College is very underrated. People look down on Community Colleges, but they really shouldn't. There are teachers that I have that are teaching the same course at state universities for probably around half the price and in smaller settings. Their arts program, from what I have seen, is pretty great. Most professors I have had care about the students that they have and want to see them succeed. People shouldn't count this college out just because it is a community college because the quality of the education you can get here is pretty great.
great teachers and lower cost than any of other college. Friendly and always there to help students out.
It is a great stepping stone on to bigger and better things. While the social scene is virtually non existent here and there are limited clubs and programs that aren't to student government association, the school itself offers the comfort that big universities do not. Professors are easy to contact and talk to and the classes are small providing a more one on one experience necessary for future learning and growth in education.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Manchester Community College-Manchester, CT is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
When I was a senior, it was very difficult to decide where I wanted to go to school and what I wanted to study at such a young age fresh out of high school. I was excited, yet nervous about what would be in store for my future. I think I would just tell myself to relax and take a deep breath because everything always works out for the best.
My classmates are very diverse from age to race to religion and everyone fits in their own way.
I believe I asked all the necessary questions before enrolling. I don't yet know of anything that I wish I had asked or known.
Manchester Community College hires professors that have a wealth of outside information. Many professors work at the college part time to supplement income and have a professional day job. For instance, over the summer I took a chemistry class with a professor who worked as an engineer at NERAC. His experiences in the work place transferred to the classroom setting where he was able to help students more easily apply their knowledge.
The best thing about Manchester Community College is that you can always find ways to get help in subjects that are your weakest. There is a tutoring center that is always available that can be very useful. I also like how the professors have office hours where you can talk to them one on one and get the help you need. This school is very famous for the professors and staff always being there for you when you need help the most.
The curriculum at Manchester Community College varies greatly by major, but in general, most programs require a significant amount of self discipline. Someone who is easily distracted or who lacks motivation may find it exceptionally difficult to excel at this school compared to the structure offered by living at a University.

I would have to say that Manchester Community College is best known for it's ability to introduce high school students to the college life, what to expect as they transition from basic education into adulthood and the responsibilities that it requires to be a college student. This program is called the "Great Path" program where there is one building dedicated to serving transitioning high school students into college life. MCC is also known as a reasonably-priced, great bridge for college students looking for somewhere to start and then want to transfer to a four-year university.
My school year has not yet started so I am unable to give an answer to this. I don't know anything from my research of this school that I am unhappy with. I believe I'll have a very positive experience here.
I think this school is for anyone who wants a solid and well-rounded education. There are some classes offered that are easier for some and more difficult for others. It's all about perception and the people who want to learn and become more educated should most definitely attend Manchester Community College.
