Is the stereotype of students at Manhattanville College accurate?

To an extent, but like with most stereotypes, not the full extent. Manhattanville is an interesting school in that it takes in a wide range of students as far as capabilities go. Yes, there are some kids here who are not very bright and - quite frankly - not capable of doing serious, intellectually-provoking work and probably couldn't even handle taking any honors or AP classes in high school, but there are also plenty of smart, more well-rounded individuals who care about their academics. Also, while yes a lot of kids are from the tri-state area, Manhattanville is starting to do a better job getting students to come from more areas in the U.S., and diversity is a big plus about the school.
