I consider the best thing about my school is the education. As a freshman i was not sure what to expect nor how different it would be from High School. I was surprised of the level of education that my school is providing and the interest of the professors. It has been an interesting transition but with the help of the professors and my collegues, i have found my school to be a great fit for me to learn and pursue my career.
Diversity
The diversity and the willingness of people to be helpful and friendly. On really nice days at the beginning and end of the school year there are people all over the quad just hanging out. The castle is pretty sweet too.
I think the best part of my school was meeting my best friend Val without her I don't know what I would do.
The diversity. There are students at our school from almost every country and it can be quite a culture shock at times, but a great way to learn about mew cultures and broaden your horizons. One of my best friends I made at this school is from Puerto Rico!
The small size allows for new students to friends very quickly.
Make sure you develope good study skills, because it is the only way to survive college academically. Also make sure your take a rests and make friends.
The relationships I have developed with my professors.
Its small size allows for closer relationships with professors. You are never a number to them.
The community involvement and emphasis on the global community.
The student diversity is the best thing about Manhattanville, because it shows that there is a high tolerance for those of various ethnic backgrounds.
The big diveresity of students.
