How caring the professors are.
There are alot of activities that the residence halls put on every week, so there is never a dull moment. There is always something to do on this campus so if your stressed just grab some of your friends and head to an event for a hour or so...you will feel refreshed and ready to tackle your homework afterward.
When I brag about my school to my friends, I mostly tell them about how small the classes are which makes it great to get one on one help from the professor. Also, the easy way to handle working and classes at the same time.
The friendly staff that know their students on first name basis. The faculty here want their students to be successful in all aspects of their lives. I love the small classes that include a lot of disscussion on course topics. Every one on campus is very friendly and open to new things.
I like to brag that Manfield University on-line program offers me the opportunity to utilize a full semester, unlike other on-line 6 to 8 week programs.
I tell my friends about the advantages of the tutors. We have free tutors to go to and many of them, all you need to do is make and appointment.
I brag about the beautiful mountain scenery when telling friends about my school. It is incredibly relaxing to go to the water towers (the highest point on campus) and look down on forests and tiny houses. It is nice to get the fresh air and see some wildlife as well. The hills on campus are spectacular for athletes. I am a runner and since coming here, my legs have never gotten such a great workout.
I brag about meeting international students from other countries.
I brag most abou the music department at my school. As a music major at the school, I recieve a first-hand experience in the excellence of the elite music department at Mansfield University. Both bands and choirs are world renound for the excellence of the music they give to the community and have proved so at numerous competitions. For instance, the Concert Choir and small-group Mansfieldians competed in the 2008 World Choir Games and came home with 6 gold medals. Not bad for a small town school :)
The awesome education program. That we are the only non ivy league school to have a sprint football team.
small class sizes and how you've seen everyone on campus. it makes things a lot more personal.
How friendly people are for the most part. When i was at orientation , sometimes when people are in unfamiliar environments their first impressions really arent what they are. so they act tougher at first and once they feel more comfortable they open up, but it wasnt like that when i went to orientation. I felt really comfortable around people and it was really nice to feel that way in an unfamiliar environment. :)
