It is an amazing school. The teachers are high-quality and take time to talk to any student, whether it has to do with the class or just with life in general - they really care about the students. The classroom is an enjoyable place to be, and the teaching presented is exceptional. It is also a very beautiful campus.
Attending at Maranatha has been an amazing experience! I am a music major, so my time is always accounted for. Maranatha provides a quality education for all majors. I know students who are freshmen as well as graduates and Maranatha has prepared and equipped them for a successful life.
Marantha Baptist University is a school that offers an excellent education. The professors are some of the most caring people I know. All of my professors have open door policies, and will meet to help you if you are struggling. They care about your learning and want to see you succeed. Nowhere is perfect, but I appreciate the education I am receiving, and the teachers that are helping me grow as a person.
I love Maranatha! Nothing is perfect, but this is the closest thing to it. It is the best place I could ever imagine going to school. It's an amazing campus with a dedicated and kind community of students and faculty who really cares about each and every student, while giving a complete and high caliber education. It is home away from home.

I would tell the highschool me to be yourself. When I first came to college, I let others define what and who I should be by giving in to peer pressure. The only way you can be sure to be happy is to be yourself and be happy with being yourself. Don't compare yourself to others-everyone is different and you will always make yourself come short in some way. Make friends have fun and enjoy yourself, college only comes once. Don't let others change you-Be who you are.
Christians who are interested in a life of full time ministry or those who want to enter a secular career with a good Bible background.
Everyone is friendly and helpful and fun
How much I don't need to bring.
The thing that sets Maranatha apart is that they have mastered a biblical educaiton without losing the regular advantages of a public college. NCAA sports, regional accreditation, and National grants and scholarships are not compromised when bringing Bible-centered education to the graduates of Maranatha.
Don't go to Maranatha if you aren't willing to grow spiritually or be trained to serve Christ, or if you want to just coast through school and get an easy in/easy out. You won't be prepared to live in the real world, and you won't have learned what the school is there to teach you.
Maranatha is a Baptist College and gives the opportunity to learn about the area in which you are majoring in a Biblical setting. All the teachers are Christians and you can tell by their lifestyle.
I love the spiritual emphasis and the people-friendly environment. Everyone is so willing to go out of their way to help with any need, including the faculty and staff. The friends I've made have played an enormous part in my college experience!
Maranatha is a place of focused learning with opportunities to grow mentally, spiritually, physically, and socially.
good work ethics, very bright students, and good teachers.
My school doesn't allow you to live off campus until you are a certain age or unless you are living with family making college costs alot higher than if one could save money by living off campus.
The teachers get to know the students very well, and they are always willing and eager to help students succeed. The academics at my school are excellent.
Maranatha has several different activities for everyone to get involved in. They include sports teams, basketball volleyball, soccer, softball and football. But if sports aren't for you, we have music groups that travel, and a great drama program.
My school environment is wonderful. My school is small enough that the teachers get to know the students, and yet large enough to have many different activities. Overall, my school has a atmosphere of excitement, and a eagerness to learn and better oneself.
