Martin Luther College is unique because it is a small school (enrollment is usually around 800). There is a high sense of community at this school. There is good comradery among students attending this school.
It exists to train pastors and teachers in the WELS synod.
MLC offers an opportunity for those wishing to be a pastor or teacher in the Wisconsin Lutheran Synod. The preparation is complete and for a private school, the price is quite competitive. The education we receive surpasses that of many other top-notch schools.
The only school that focuses everyone on preparing for the public ministry according to the doctrines of the bible as presented by the Wisconsin Evengelical Lutheran Synod.
It is small and has only three major programs of study. While there are subsections to each major you are either studying to be a pastor, a teahcer, or a staff minister.
