The worst thing about my school is probably the food. Because the food is repetitive it seems like we eat the same thing all the time.

The parking is probably the worst thing about my school. Its so hard to find a parking support most days.

I believe the worst thing about McKendree is that there doesn't seem to be much of a campus community. Because it is surrounded by a small town community, there isn't too much outside activities for students to participate in, even though there are attempts to help students stay involved, through volunteer activities as well as others on campus.

The worst thing about my school is the lack of resources for community service. There are limited community service programs and activities for students to take part in on and off campus.

The worst thing about McKendree is the outdatedness of equipment. It's not state funded; but rather, it relies on endowments and tuition to keep the school running. This makes for outdated equipment and space. Regardless of such, the school continues to pour money into lawn care (contracts with lawn care companies to blow leaves, water grass several times a day, etc). To me, it's a nasty waste of money. Additionally, a staggering amount of scholarship money is awarded to those who play sports, even when their grades are lacking. It's almost dispicable.

The worst thing about my school is that it is pretty small and there is not a huge demographic of students.

I believe there should be more types of dance classes and I would also like if McKendree University had a Show Choir because I enjoyed it a lot while at Althoff Catholic High School and I would like to see McKendree expand in their Performing Arts department.

With with many great factors about McKendree, the worst-case-scenario is when the cafeteria comes up with a variety of food that is somewhat distasteful.

McKendree University is a great school with endless possibilities. It has a great location where it is only twenty minutes from downtown St. Louis. But McKendree University is stuck in Lebanon, IL. Not that Lebanon is not a great little town, but it is little. It has a population of around 5,000 people. And being me, the fun, out-going girl, a small school can be a little cramped with the dreams a girl has for the future. That would be the only downfall that McK has, the size of the school and the hometown location.

I am a non traditional student that is finally about to finish college. I have atteneded several colleges and I have found the worst thing about any college is the cost of education. Many times my class selection had to be reduced because I could not pay the required tuition, fees and book costs. I feel that I am fortunate to have this be the worst thing about school.

Dating back towards the mid 1800s, the school was originally an all boys Methodist campus and today the school is integrated with a catholic church. However, the historical building that deck the settlement could use a little extra care especially the water fountain on my dorm floor which is often used as a sink for spitting out toothpaste and draining ramen noodle than a place where one could get a drink. On the other hand, after watching a girl pouring vomit down one of the sink's drain, in comparison, the fountain does seem a tab bit safer.

I consider the worst part about McKendree University is sometimes it is hard to get enough people to join a class to obtain the required amount of students needed to have the class.

The worst thing about my school would be the lack of extracurricular intrest by students. While McKendree offers many opprotunites to be active and participate, students are focused on varisty sports and academics. On weekends and nights, the campus is quite deserted, many students commute or return home on weekends.

Living off campus can be tough for students on this small campus. They may have a hard time adapting to the "campus life" everyone is looking for because you are often not around when on-campus students are bonding. Additionally, living off campus is not the best because when you live on campus you can bond when you eat meals in the dining hall, live with people you may have never met, or miss out on the spontaneous events that just pop up on campus.

McKendree University is the oldest college in Illinois. The campus is very beautiful and the buildings are tucked in by each other. The dorms, labs, and classrooms are not as updated as the other colleges in Illinois. These "updates" do not affect the education that you would be recieving at all.

I'd have to say that the worst thing about my school is how small it is. I'd prefer to get to know more people, especially more with different backgrounds. However, if what you're looking for is a small school in a small town, then this school is absolutely perfect for you.

My school is an off campus location so I miss out on many of the luxuries that are found on the main campus.

The worst thing about McKendree is that it is not wheelchair accessible at all. The school however can be fully accessed if a person has use of their legs. This is the worst thing because people who cannot use their legs are unable to use many of the services offered for students. Additionally, the offfice of students with a disablity is located on the third floor of a bulding with no elevator.

Probably the fact that we are largely a commuter school and it becomes almost deserted on the weekends

The worst thing about our school is that many students do not get involved in extra curricular activities. There are many loyal students to this school, but some events are very poorly attended. They are publicized, but students often choose to not attend.
