I feel as though Penn valley Is an institution where everyone can succeed. They offer a lot of help and support that you wouldn't get at a University and or even in most High Schools. The Staff, Advisors, and Counselors are very hands on and are there to help you every step of the way. The environment of the campus is very diverse and comfortable; everyone feels welcome. Its very beneficial for me for my transition onto a 4 year university and offers all the resources and help I need to achieve my long-term goals and I would recommend it to anyone who is coming straight out of high school as well as adults who want to pursue a degree.
The metropolitan community college is an excellent place to start your way towards a university, they also offer a wide variety of certificates and their nursing program is one of the bests in the state. The teachers are super helpful and really show interest in the alumni.
Overall, Metropolitan Community is a very good, cheap option for those looking to finish their general education classes. It also an excellent option for those looking to be Physical Therapy Assistants. The college has an excellent Physical Therapy Assistant program that lasts two years and gives you clinical experience.
It is a great campus if you're an upcoming artist because there is a lot of art to be seen that is also including art created by students themselves! Not to mention we have the Nelson Atkins Museum not that far from the school. It is a very diverse campus so there should be no problem finding people similar to you. Overall it is a very interesting campus and it is a great place to start.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
The advice that I would give myself would be to participate in the A+ program, which earns student's money towards community college. I would also tell myself to be more prepared for the future, and have a set goal in mind about what course of study you would like to take. As a current student, I have struggled trying to figure out my course of study, and as a result, have taken unnecessary classes for my, now, declared major. As a senior in high school, it is your highly important job to decide your future, and determine your potential in the career field. I would also tell myself to be more financially prepared, and to stay cautious of student loans. While loans are unavoidable, do not over-use them as it can haunt you in the future. My advice would be to stay calm, focus on a career you'd like and are willing to study, and to take responsibility for your actions both financially and academically.
I wish i would've known which Universities accept credits from my school before i attended, because it would've made it easier to decide where i wanted to transfer after getting an Associates Degree.
Any person who is seeking to either complete general education credits or their Associate's degree, in order to transfer to a four-year university or the student who is looking to take classes at a more affordable rate. MCC offers a low cost per credit hour, which allows student's in today's rough economy to actually continue going to school, without having to pay major expenses.
The people who attend Penn Valley Community College are inspiring to go to school with because they come from both challenging and various backgrounds; I see people every day overcoming their struggles with financial or class issues by fighting back with education and this inspires me to continue my quest to become a public school teacher.
The Metropolitan Community Colleges are a wonderful place to go to get an education, for cheaper than most traditional universities. The worst aspect to the school, in my opinion, is the amount of classes available to take online. To be a better university, the college should offer many more classes to be taken online, and thus allowing today's modern student to complete more classes through online learning.
When I brag to friends about attending Penn Valley Community College, I brag about the cost. Penn Valley is so affordable and there is so much help that they provide. Granted it is not a a big university, it is a great community college that provides exceptional teaching so that maybe later in life you can transfer to that big university. The cost of Penn Valley compared to what they offer is unparallel.
The classrooms are small.
I like the sizes of the classes, because it's easier to learn and focus on lessons. You can get more hands on help rather than trying to send e-mails to get help.
People in which whom are not serious about creating a good future for themselves. Its a place for people who want to better themselves and want to create a good future for themselves. Its a place to build a better life for yourself and be successful. Unless you truly have your mind made up on a posiive future for yourself its not the place for you.
