- people that don't like cold climates. in my case I grew up in the northeast so I'm used to the weather and I loved the campus skiing resort. - people that aren't willing to be open-minded and have an international perspective. the campus is extremely international - people that are extremely career-oriented. It's not that you can't get fabulous jobs (people do!), but it's different when you could get a part-time internship while enrolled at NYU. it's really what you make of it.

Anyone who needs to be in a city or feels a need for anonymity - Middlebury's small, and everyone knows everyone else, for the same reason, anyone antisocial should probably steer clear. Finally, while Republicans exist at Middlebury, I'm pretty sure their life is a little harder for their politics.
People who want to party, a lot.
You shouldn't attend this school if you desire to live in a bustling city. The nearest big city is 45 minutes away, and is still considered small by many standards. You also shouldn't atend this school if you aren't a fan of the cold. There is snow on the ground from November until April.
