For Fall Semester of 2012, I was actually at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I found that it's a great college, but it was just too big for me. Midland is a great school for kids that are from smaller towns and not comfortable in big cities. They are also great for bigger city kids looking for a break. Midland University is small enough to enable you to make connections with most of campus and be a family, but also located in a town close to a bigger city so you can have those big city options and opportunities.
A person who needs to have a huge variety of teachers to choose from for a particular class would not do well here. Those who don't enjoy smaller towns and teachers who hold you accountable for attending class, would struggle at Midland. Otherwise, I love Midland for many reasons, and I feel that there is something there for everyone!
people that want that one on one attention
A party animal big drinker. There is some off that but the majority of students attend social activities that do not involve this. Also one that is ant-social.
