Millersville University is a friendly campus overall. The professors are always there to help and the students greet you with a smile even if they don’t know you. Alex

Millersville University boasts a beautiful campus, an active student body, and a solid base for the future of their students. I attended in Fall 2013, but personal reasons at home kept me from returning that spring. However, the staff helped me re-register all my information, catch up with preparations, and supported my return to school. I can only speak highly of Millersville University.

Allison

It has great programs and great professors. Class sizes aren't huge and help is always given. It's also a great place to have fun

Taylor

Overall, Millersville is an average school when first looked at. However, it does contain professors who are full of passionate lesson and stories that make students feel immersed in the classes. It also has a wonderful theatre program full of opportunity for all writers, actors, directors, lighting, sound, set design, stage managers, crew, and more. The program keeps theatre and the arts alive and showcases them for the campus and surrounding area. So, the dorms and food may not be the highlight, but the clubs and staff make up for it.

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Millersville University of Pennsylvania is 69%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I would tell myself to apply more reasonable schools. I wasn't being realistic in my college choices. I was all over the place and wasn't sure exactly where I wanted to go. I would have told myself to do more recearch on schools and apply for scholarships so that I wouldn't have to struggle as much now. I would remind myself not to apply to schools so late becuase then maybe I would have gotten the chance to go to a school I really wanted to go to. Millersville University is not all bad, but wasn;t my first choice. In the beginning of senior year is when I really should have been paying attention to where I wanted to go and should have went on more collge tours. Overall I would tell myself to be prepared and not take college so lightly because it is hard work. I would tell myself to look up as many scholarships and grants as possible. Now that money is tight, I'm not sure if I'll be able to come back next fall.

  6. What's unique about your campus?

I think the best thing about this school is the education program that they provide. The school makes it very difficult to be an education major here, so you have to work very hard to be in that major. I really enjoy the amount of opportunities that are given for these majors to go out into the field even in their first year. This way it is much easier for the student to figure out if this is what they really want to major in and to see if they will enjoy it.

  7. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Many of the activities available to participate in require some form of money. Out of state tuition is OUTRAGEOUS! Out of state tuition is more than double the amount of in state tuition! There are so many general education requirements that I think waste my time and money; however, the university's excuse is they want to make us WELL rounded students.

I brag mostly about the fact that it is affordable. Most of my friends are going to schools that when they graduate will have a terrible time paying off the loans that they took out. While, Millersville allows me to go to attend classes at rate that will be what I can "do-able". It will take time and effort, but I know I can and will be able to do it.
