The fact that it has slowly turned into not such a competative school, the school is accepting kids with out many requirments. The school should be at the top of their line and extremely competative and hard to get in, like Harvard or Yale. It seems like the school is slowly going to turn into another state school that will be over filled with dumb students.
YOUR FRESHMAN YEAR IS VERY STRESSFUL BECAUSE THE SCHOOLS PUTS YOU THROUGH A GRUELING 2 SEMESTERS OF WHAT IS CALLED "FOUDATIONS", WHICH ALLOWS EVERY NEW INCOMING FRESHMAN THE ABILITY TO FIND THEIR NICHE, AND IT WILL ALSO DETERMINE IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY COMMITTED TO HARD WORK. FOUNDATIONS WILL SEPARATE THE SERIOUS FROM THE "IFFY" AND DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE AT THAT SCHOOL. THERE IS A RELATIVELY HIGH DROP OUT RATE THE FIRST YEAR. AFTER THAT FIRST YEAR ,IF YOU MAKE IT, YOU WILL CHOOSE YOUR MAJOR AND THE EXPERIENCE IS SO MUCH BETTER SOPHOMORE YEAR.
