The type of person that should not attend MSOE is the student who does not wasnt to put effort into their learning, a lazy student.

If a student is looking to just have fun and party through college, Milwaukee School of Engineering is not the school for them.

People who shouldn't attend this school are people who see college as an excuse to party. If a person intends to come to school and spend minimal time on homework this is not the place for them. While there are plenty of oportunities to spend time with friends and have some fun. There is almost always hard work to be done. Plenty of kids come here and expect to ride through with minimal effort just to end up failing after their first year.

People who don't care about learning and are only going to college because they are told to do so by parents or because they think they need some sort of college degree to get a job. MSOE is a school for people who genuinely want to learn, not for anyone looking for an easy degree.

If you aren't sure about what you want to do, or where you want to be five years from now, look elsewhere. MSOE will gladly accept you and just as gladly let you leave after a quarter when you procrastinate your GPA away. If you don't want a top-notch degree in engineering that companies acutally look for, find another school. If you're looking to party every night and pull a 4.0 effortlessly, remember that MSOE doesn't offer Psychology as a major.

Person who I think persoanlly that shouldn't attent this school is person who will not work hard. Person who does not want to engage with others will make their studies hard. Meaning, it always best to make new friends so that they can help you on your math or life. Mainly, this school is not all that easy neither will it is super hard, unless the person think is hard then it's hard. Or, if the person is willing to study hard, then nothing is hard. After all, everything is possible.

You should not attend this school if you are going to college for a social experience. I have met a lot of people I consider my good friends, but we do not go out on the weekends a lot. There are not house parties every weekend, and it is important to stay focused on your school work.

Any one who is looking for a party school. The classes at MSOE are crammed into quarters and there is little time to sucessfully maintain going to school here and partying without hours spent before hand to make up for that time lost due to partying.

A person that wants to go to school to just go have fun and party would be some one that would not do well here.

The kind of person who shouldn't attend this school is a person who is not focused or fully perpared for college. A person who has no study skills and no commitment to school would not succeed here. You have to be prepared to give one hundred and ten percent to this school. If you don't believe in yourself you will never make it at Milwaukee School of Engineering. A student who cannot push themselves and is afraid to get help will have a complicated time learning here. A persons prioritites must be in line to attend this school.

The characteristics of a person that should not attend this school would be someone who does not enjoy challenging themselves, working hard, balancing school and their personal lives. The school is made to be challenging in its acceptance requirements but is a school that every student coul succeed in. The faculty and academic resources make it a no-brainer for students who want to have the best college eperience possible.

Someone who likes to spend more time partying than studying or someone who does not have good time-management skills or someone who wishes to meet tons of women should not come to this school.

Someone that is not will to work hard wouldn't make it very far. The course work at the school is very demanding and many professors expect extremely professional looking work.

Anyone who wishes to truly exercise their creative spirit should not come here. This is a place of learning and progress, not a place of culture and relaxation.

People who aren't sure what major they want shouldn't consider MSOE. People who are more focused on "experiencing" college (i.e. drinking, partying, being with friends, etc.) than earning a degree shouldn't attend MSOE...they won't make it. Basically, if you're not super dedicated to working hard to earn a degree in engineering -- MSOE peobably isn't for you.
