That it would be lonely so that I could have prepared for that.
Before coming to my school I wish i would have known about the ability to rent books online rather than having to buy them. I could have saved a lot of money that I could have used for other supplies. I also wish that I could have understood the importance of using the school library. The Miracosta library is an incredible facility that in recent semesters has been intrumental in my studies, if I would have taken advantage of its services earlier I could have completed many assignments much better and easier.
I wish that before I came to this school I had known how tough it would be to be accepted into the local nursing programs. Speaking to the guidance counselors that are really tuned into the programs available can steer students in the right direction so that time isn't wasted on unnecessary courses. There is a lot of competition for the nursing programs, but there is also a lot of help out there, you just have to know where to look.
I have as much of an ooportunity in a junior college, such as Mira Costa, as I would have going straight into a four year university or college.
I wish I would have known about scholarships and financial aid and how difficult paying for school would be.
