The people are great but there is absolutely nothing to do. Get used to just staying in your dorm pretty much every weekend while the RA's crawl up and down the hallways. And make sure your music isn't loud otherwise your the biggest target. You are rarely allowed to have fun in the dorms and when you do, 9 out of 10 times you're gonna get in trouble.
Misericordia University is a small. private, liberal arts school in a safe PA community. All students on campus are friendly and always available to help. I do not prefer the dining hall on campus, but there are more options for food such as Chick-fil-a, Chopping Block, and Starbucks. I really enjoy the close-knit atmosphere of Misericordia University. GO cougs!!
The campus is small (which I enjoy) and safe, the people are always nice, but parking is limited and the amount of debt I'm in is ridiculous.
Overall, the academics are great at Misericordia. However, there is little social life as most people go home on weekends and there are only a few small parties to go to. It is a great choice for someone looking to go into the health sciences. This is a school that is chosen for academics, not for sports or the social atmosphere.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Misericordia University is 74%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would give myself the advice to learn how to releave stress. I would take more time for myself and my family to reduce the stress I have. Also I would spend more time with my family and friends because once you get to college it is a lot harder to hangout with your friends and especially your family during the week. Another advice I would give myself is to learn how to manage my time, and that teachers in college are tougher on students then they are on high school students.
I believe the worst thing about my school is that the cmpus is put together awkward. It is not easy to find out how to get to places and where they are located. If the campus was put together a little better it would be great. Also there outdoor vollyball court and their outdoor basketball court need some maintence done to keep them up to date.
People who enjoy being in large classes should not go here. Also, people who want to be extremely active on the weekends should not come here.
that my class would be so competeitive
The type of person that should attend this school is one who wants a more one on one experience in the classroom and one who wants to build lasting friendships.
I think our school is best known for there academics and athletics. on the academic side they were voted one of the top schools in the nation. On the athletics standpoint they just won the MAC championship for basketball and they just started their football program.
Their young and in their own worlds.
Attendance policy and pointless homework assignments for grade are worth more than actual test and paper scores. Intelligence gains you nothing at this school, going to class and doing homework is what they want. Being able to learn on your own and score well on tests and papers is not what they are looking for at Misericordia, simply shut your mouth show up and do homework. Not my idea of higher education, I do not want to be a mindless drone.
The size of it. It is a very small school which I like because you can get closer to your teachers and classmates.
My school is awesome because its just the right size:not too big and not too small.
The professors are very helpful.
Most of my professors have been great in helping me learn and understand the work in my classes.
The academics at my school are very good. We have a lot of majors that are ranked nationally.
There are no specific class that is popular. Depending on your major you can see what gets filled up the quickest to see which people really like or want.
My classes are like i hoped to be when applying for this school. They are small and the teacher always has time for everyone.
The best place to get work done would have to be in the library or insalaco hall.
