Compared to the other schools that I considered, Mississippi State University is unique in that it has that southern, country feel to it.

The uniqueness of my school would have to be all the school spirit everyone shows and the so many different activites we have.

MSU has an awesome engineering program. Also, MSU is my family school. Both my parents received degrees from MSU as well as my older brother. MSU is in my blood.

MSU has great traditions, such as ringing the cowbell at football games, that rally the students and alumni to be supportive of the university. MSU is a self-sustaining university because we grow our own vegetables and make our own cheese.

Mississippi State has a veterinary school, which is where I plan to go after undergraduate. The atmosphere here is amazing compared to other schools.

Mississippi State University is a diverse school offering multiple choices for a respectable education. There are plenty of opportunities available to be involved with the campus and fellow students. The individuals that I have encountered during my coursework here have all been very friendly and helpful. Most of the professors have a genuine care for students that want to do well. The overall atmosphere of the campus is very welcoming.

Mississippi State has a friendly atmosphere that feels like home. Everyone smiles and seems happy to be on campus. I never get home sick, or feel as though I do not want to be at school. The friendly atmosphere makes it easy to adjust to a new environment, and make new friends.

What's unique about my school compared to other schools is the homey and friendly atmosphere that's typical of Southern hospitality; not to say that other universities in the Deep South don't have the same atmosphere, but at MSU you get that vibe from strangers as well as students you already know from your county or hometown! I've even ran into people here who I already knew from schools in surrounding counties, as well.

The school I attend is very affective to helping others reach their goal. Listening to my invoice I can see my reflection of my future everyday I wake up and step foot on campus; It's truly and honored to be a apart of this college campus. Mississippi State has so much to offer for my education. and I just proud and honored to be apart of this school.

Mississippi State University is a down to earth small town campus. The campus is the largest land grant college in the U.S. It is manicured to a tee by the landscape divsion of the school making it an enjoyable experience going to and from class. The campus is centered in the middle of Starkville MS and is very accessible from my apartment where I and many of my friends live! A great university to learn and live the college life and I would recommend this school to anyone!

During my college years I expected to gain all of my experiences through class lectures and projects. However, as MSU is very research-focused, I have found myself acquiring a wealth of knowledge through academic activities off-campus as well. I have had the opportunity to network with individuals in professional settings around the world. Many times in these settings I am one of few students representing a university, which makes me proud of my decision to attend MSU. This school has many ties with research institutes globally, which I feel sets it apart from my other universities of consideration.

There are a few reasons my school is unique, but the best reason is the school spirit. Everybody loves Mississippi State University because of the environment, the friendships made, and who everybody is in general. Everybody acts who they are, they don't try to be anybody else. Other schools, everybody trys to be somebody else to fit in. At Mississippi State, who you are is what makes you fit in.

A unique thing about Mississippi State is probably the "closeness" of everything and everybody. Starkville, MS is very small so everybody ends up knowing everybody at State through someone else. I think that makes MSU very unique from other universities.

Mississippi State has an extremely large campus, compared to other schools in Mississippi. It's not so large as to be a hinderance to class attendance, but it gives enough space for everyone to feel unconfined. Mississippi State has also recently implemented a bike loan program allowing students to just pick up a bicycle and ride across campus and just put it in an available bike rack for someone else to pick up and ride. it's very convenient.

My school is unique due it's strong engineering programs and alumni associations.

It has a wonderful engineering program, and the teachers want to prepare you well for a future career in engineering.

Mississippi State has a small town feel that still has plenty of shops and resturants in town to entertain you. The campus is beatiful and I love the faculty and students on campus.

This school offered online learning in the field that I needed.

The diversity of the student body.

They have a lot of people that are extremely different. There are a multitude of variety of students.

Well, I grew up a State fan, so I pretty much knew I was going to college here. I decided to come here instead of Ole Miss because there isn't as much emphasis on being Greek, because I never thought I was into sororities. The people here are much more friendly and willing to help.

Everone goes home on the weekends.

It is in the top ten in the nation for engineering.

The atmosphere is very laid back at MSU compared to many other schools which makes it a great place to go. Campus is never really stressed except during finals week. Otherwise, people here just like to have good time while getting a good education from one of the best schools in the SEC.

The atmosphere is very friendly and the people will help you when needed. The advisors give you the best options to choose from for your career. The will also let the student know if they are slipping in his/her studies and he/she need to focus more on your studies. The main goal here is to receive a top education for the money you are spending. In my opion, I am receiving a excellent education for the best price. The professors are very knowledgeable about the subjects they are teaching. I couldn't ask for better.
