What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Christopher

The most frustrating part of school is that the people here are hard to get to know. People rarely seem to want to join into a conversation or make new friends. Additionally, unless you are using the internet late at night, the wifi is not very good here; however, a wired connection is incredibly good.

The most frustrating thing about my school would have to be game days if you do not have a good decal or parking pass to get a spot for football games.

Emily

Everything is very spead out.

The most frustrating thing about Mississippi State University was test scheduling. My teachers typically scheduled tests on the same day or on consecutive days. I certainly do not mind studying and working hard to achieve good grades, I just wish I had more time to clear my head, rest, and prepare for each test equally. Sometimes, I was forced to decide for which class I would spend the most time studying. I could have learned much more with a more distributed test schedule.

Simone

The most frustrating thing about my school is the state it resides in. If you want to branch out to a larger scale for your career, Mississippi State doesn't have a lot of resources to help with that.

The most frustrating thing about my school would have to be dealing with hallmates/roommates when living in a dorm room. The students are different and from all over so you have to expect anything. Some are so inconsiderate when it comes to keeping things clean that must be shared or respecting the rules of the hallways as in keeping the noise levels down. This would have to be above all the most frustrating thing about my school. Things as in work can sometimes be hard but if you apply yourself, there's nothing to worry about.

As a college student, we are taking on challenges from all levels of rigid structure. The preparation of study is the most frustrating thing in college. The most frustating thing about Mississippi State is adaption to the learning system here after transferring from another technical or community college. Many students are confident when entering the world of our university and expect from experience to be able to do most anything that is handed to them from university classes here after being from another college. The uniqueness of our university teaching system proves you must start at the first step in order to advance to the higher level courses. By transferring from another college to here one must make sure that he or she is truly ready.

Rachel

The most frustrating part about attending Mississippi State is the lack of variety in the meal plan. Since freshman are required to buy one, it makes the transition from home cooked meals that much more difficult. The food is extremely cheap and greasy. It took me several months to adjust my digestive system to handle meals from there. Also, the meal plan only works for the two cafeterias on campus and you have to purchase separate "Flex Dollars" to be able to eat at the Student Union that serves higher quality meals. This includes chain restaurants.

Dennis

For me, it's juggling all the work associated with achieving a biomedical engineering degree and the time needed to run cross country and track year round. Each one demands my complete attention and dedication, yet I can't give it to either one. In the end, I feel like they both suffer, and that makes me sad.
