I think the best thing about my school is that everything is so close together because I am the kind of pefson that can make a wrong left, and get completely turned around. It is very hard to get lost at Mississippi State.

The best thing about this school would have to be the the small town community surrounding the college and the football, basketball, and other activity programs on campus.

The best thing about Mississippi State is the availabilty of classes for the career path that you choose.

The people. From the professors to the students, the janitors to the caffetteria ladies, the people are so friendly! You could just wave to someone and they stop and ask you how your day is, how your family is, and next thing you know you're having a 15 minute conversation with someone you just met on the way to Starbucks. It's an amazing feeling.

Perhaps the greatest thing about our school is that I feel like I'm a part of a family going there. Mississippi State was not even on my list, but when I visited there, I knew that's where I would be spending my next four years. Everyone is very friendly and very dedicated to improving the university. I have never known another school with such vibrant school spirit. Everyone seems to love it there, and there is no other school for me.

The best thing about my school is the aesthetic beauty of campus: the architecture and the landscaping are gorgeous! In fall and winter, the oak and sycamore trees turn bright red, gold, and yellow, emerald and jade in the spring and summer; and then, all the flowers, shrubbery, grass, and 100-year old renovated halls! Walking and looking all around campus is just so comforting.

The Reseacher center and programs. Mississippi State University is a leading research institution in our region and nationally. With the tri-part mission of the university embodied even in its seal-learning, research, and service-MSU is the flagship institution in Mississippi for research that falls within its land-grant mission. Known as "The People's University", MSU conducts fundamental to applied research, but always within the context of providing innovative solutions to pressing needs-state, regional, national, and global.

You feel like your at home when your not. Everyone is nice and friendly. School spirit is HUGE here.

It is so beautiful!! All of the staff here have been very helpful to me. Nobody has even been rude in financial aid.

The best thing about Mississippi State University is the Christian sorority that I am an active member of. Sigma Phi Lambda, Sisters for the Lord, is where my best friends are. This group is my support system and are the girls that I can always look to when I need something. Not only do we meet like any other sorority, we have small group Bible studies and mission projects. Sigma Phi Lambda keeps me accountable for everthing I do and is always there to remind me to glorify the Lord.

Mississippi State University offers a unique variety of degrees and programs for all ages of students seeking to improve their knowledge in their existing fields or to change and go in a different direction of study. State is just a neat and comfortable place to learn. Helpful faculty and an easy campus to walk to classes. The student atheletic spirit is second to none when it comes to supporting our Bulldogs!! Overall, I've been a Bulldog all my life and I wouldn't have it any other way! Go Dogs!!

As students consider their choices for prospective colleges there are many factors which play a role in their final decision, and I have always been an individual more concerned with academics than social activities. Therefore, in my opinion the best thing about Mississippi State (MSU) is its location in a small Northern Mississippi town. This setting enables students to focus on academics without being distracted by unnecessary outside disturbances. To me college is a time to create new networks of friends and professionals and to engage in new experiences, but most importantly to obtain a life altering education.

The ratio of Ph.D.s to students in the ECE department makes the classroom size small enough that a class can seem like a discussion and not necessarily a lecture. This helps me to learn and engage a professor instead of coping notes or printing a slide show.

The best thing about my school is the diversity on campus. We have programs to cater to our first generation scholars, our scholars with learning and physical disabilites, as well as, our international students. We pride ourselves on being the "People's University" and anyone who visits our campus can feel like they are home, because as you walk across the drill field you will see students sitting on the grass, laying in hammocks, or waving to a friend across the drill field.

it is well ballanced in size and accademic intensity so that it is not intimidating to freshman, also it allows students to interact with a ethnically diverse group of people and a friendly outgoing in gerneral student body.

I feel like the best thing about my school is the town. Starkville is very focused on the college and that makes the expierence that much more enjoyable and it also helps to focus on school.

The campus is fairly small, so it can be very relaxed at times. On weekends, especially on football weekends, the activity picks up and it can have a large campus feel, so it can be quite diverse.

The Career Serevices Center is very good here.

I absolutlely love the people that attend Mississippi State University. We have a very diverse student body with students coming from all over the world to get a great education.

I like the size of the university. it is not too small or too big. I have met alot of new friends. The professors are helpful and are easy to get to know. This is important for your classwork and career. I am in Fashion Merchandising and find that the professors will be very important to me in finding a job.

The hospitality at Mississippi State is amazing!

Easy access to campus and all of the buildings on campus. The buildings are ,for the most part, newer buildings and well kept up.

The school campus is large and definately has a lot to take in. Its a wonderful place to make friends and create memories.
