Missouri Baptist is a great college to attend if you are really into sports. Sports is a big deal here and you can likely find a sporting event going on every week. Also, the academics are top notch. The teachers will provide the help you need as long as you ask for it. While lunch is great with the brio, dinner is a big down fall. Then, housing could be improved by not having so many rules. They could also make tuition and housing less expensive. Other than those three negatives Missouri Baptist University is a great school.
Missouri Baptist University is a great school for people who are looking for something small. People who would like to get more involved with the professors may do so easily. Also, the school is great for the baptist faith or for people that want to get closer to God. On the other hand, the cafe food is not good, the university is pricey for college, and when homework is done good luck on trying to find something to do on the campus.
Missouri Baptist University is a beautiful campus where you happen to see smiles every way you turn. There's a lot of fun in and out of the classroom and the professors are fantastic people. The athletic program is insanely into sports. Every athlete from each sport trains and works incredibly hard in and out of the classroom too.
I absolutely love Missouri Baptist. I've never once encountered someone who didn't have a smile on their face, even on my campus visit. Everyone is so nice and don't hesitate to help you with anything you might need. The campus reflects its students and staff perfectly, its so beautiful and I love sitting outside doing homework or just talking to all the friends I've made there! The best decision I've made was to attend MBU!
I picked MBU for the small class sizes, the accredited teaching style, and the good Christian base it had. I also play golf and I was given a great scholarship for it. I have yet to be disappointed in the school. It has a great sense of family and student priority and the professors are very helpful. It's good having a small class size because the professors can then get a one-on-one relationship with the students and I think that's really important.
It's fine but there are some things that I really just don't like about the school. It's really difficult to get involved as a freshman, along with the fact that some of their professors are less than great. My English professor was teaching things that were blatantly wrong, and the classes are not really interested in idea exploration. It's not really interested in the education or what their degrees are worth, and it's more of a sports-oriented school. They also don't have very good food options, especially for vegetarians. I will say, though, that I do love their honors program. It's one of the better parts of the school along with the Perk. Other than that, the school is not really challenging or easy to get involved in.
Ever since I first came to MoBap to visit and look around the campus, I was very impressed. It didn't look so much like a college that I would have imagined, it looked more like a home. Everyone is very kind, friendly and very welcoming. The chapel is beautiful and they have made me a believer in Christ once again. Amazing university.
Missouri Baptist University is a good college. It's not a great college, just a good college. The professors care about the topic they are teaching, but some are definitely more passionate than others. There are different student activities to get involved in; the most popular is the varsity sports games.
I love the opportunities Mobap has to offer. They have tons of undergraduate degree programs and several master programs to choose from. It's a great athletic community as the majority of students are athlete's and its not uncommon to catch all the sports teams supporting one another. It's a loving and friendly environment at Mobap with tons of opportunities to advance your career and spiritual growth.
Missouri Baptist University is nestled right in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. Even though you are in the city, you would not believe it when you are standing in the center of our quaint campus. The brick buildings possess a traditional character highlighting our university's past and those students who have walked the halls before while the more recent buildings point to the future of not only the campus but the students as well. MBU also boasts the largest campus coffee house in St. Louis which lives up to its name as there is always an amazing cup of coffee served there along with a smile from the friendly staff comprised of our students. If sports is your cup of coffee instead, MBU offers many sporting events to observe which always draws a lively crowd. Resident life also hosts many events throughout the year which help unite the students of MBU. The on-campus housing is fairly new and is well taken care of. Living on campus provides students with the feeling of living in a small village especially as one walks down the winding path listening to students laugh, music playing, and the wildlife that call the many trees home. The greatest aspect of Missouri Baptist University isn't the buildings or the food or the sports but the faculty and students that call campus home. The Christian mission of MBU is evident in the lives of the faculty who care for their students on a personal level, making sure that each individual student doesn't feel like only a number. The professors all have open door policies and are prepared to help students with any problems they may have, educational or personal. Since the student body is not very large, everybody knows each other and you can't walk down the sidewalk without seeing someone you know. The motto at Missouri Baptist University is "Shine On" and that's exactly what this atmosphere allows students to do.
