I believe that Moberly Area Community College is a good option for someone who is looking to save money on their first two years of school and then move on to a 4-year school. This is exactly what I am doing and all of my credits were able to transfer over. Overall, I have had a good experience at MACC and recommend it for anyone in Missouri with the A-plus program scholarship.
Good for focusing on academic work but, there are very restricted opportunities for extracurricular activities or other student activities. People are very nice and professors are always willing to help students. However, the college is located in a very small city, so there are mere things to do near the college. Also, transportation is very bad (no bus or subway). MACC is not much different with other small community college.
This is a great place to go to get basic credits for cheap before transferring to a 4 year institution. The faculty who are in leadership positions are generally fantastic but other faculty vary significantly. The administration is generally really difficult to deal with.
I thinks it’s a great College for those straight out of high school. It allows you to have a College experience while being close to home. For those who haven’t been to college before this is a great one to get you started. Everyone is extremely nice and willing to help whenever they can.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Moberly Area Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Work harder! Don't get discouraged and give up. There's help there that you won't be aware of to start with, you just have to dig until you find it.
Moberly is a school where teachers know your name and care about your education and attendance; however, it?s a cheaper and more beneficial way for people to start their educational path, rather than attending an expensive university with 500 people in some classes.
They are all nice to me and there is no one that that does not be mean to one another.
What is unique about my school is that the classes are small and the teachers are very helpful and are determined to help their students as much as possible.
I would have to say the worst thing about Moberly is that you are not challenged enough. Sometimes it feels like teachers expect less out of you because it is a community college, but that is not correct. The reason why most people attend is because it?s cheaper and it?s considered the same education. Therefore, having teachers who don?t set high standards is difficult to push yourself, but I think that is what makes those who succeed in a community college even stronger. We have to push ourselves and know what we?re capable of.
Anybody can attend this college but I think someone who is absolutely didicated to their education should go to this college. A person who is also trying to see how the college world is like can also come to this school to see if its going to be a good thing for them or not.
Not getting correct information the first time and havingto ask multiple people to figure it out.
