What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

Joan-Sebastian

I wish I knew the truth about transfering. I wish i knew that al though I am a music major and a good student, a 68{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} final score in my math class would mean that I might not be able to go to the school i really want to. I wish i knew that it takes longer than 2 years to transfer even though i've been taking an average of 5 more units than required per semester,.

I wish I would have known about some of the other programs offerd but I didn't research them when I was looking into going back to school.

Bryce

I wish I would've known that the majority of my previous credits would not transfer. I wish there was accurate resources available to help students decide which classes they should and should not take for fulfilling the transfer patterns for 4-year universities.

I wish that I had known how hard it would be to get into the classes I needed the first couple of semesters. I realized this when in one class, the weightlist was longer that the class size. I also wish I had known how challenging the coursework was and how much reading we have to do each evening for almost every class. High school did not really prepare me for reading 50 pages or more a night and it definitely did not prepare me for the long waitlists that are here.

I wish I knew where everything was before i came to this campus but, as school goes on you eventually figure it out by yourself.

Elizabeth

I wish I more about the resources and people available and how helpful they were. For example the librians and the writing resource.
