What major I would choose.

Before I had enrolled in Moorpark Community College, I wish i had known that universities are not as difficult to get into as I had thought and that community college is not nearly as difficult as I would naturally hope for in a college.

Before I had come to Moorpark College I would have liked to have known how hard it was to get into certain classes due to the fact they are cutting back.

I think that it is important to know that college experience is as good as you make it. Of course, you need to study hard and do well in school. Of course, there is a lot of homework, studying and reading. It is very important to keep up on your studies, or you will fall quickly behind. The professors all want you to do well and succeed. You need to go to them for clarification of anything because they really want to help and see their students succeed. Also, never make excuses. Be honest about everything.

I wish I had known more about how to choose the classes I needed in order to graduate. I also wish I had known to put my foot down with the advisors when it came to them enrolling me in classes. I feel that had I been better prepared to know how to choose classes I would have been able to graduate on time.

I wish I had known how important and serious a college education really is and I should not take it for granted. I should have gotten treatment for my depression before I came to this school.
