The worst thing about my school is the counseling office. The counselors aren't very helpful and every person will tell you something different about what you should do. Also, it's basically impossible to schedule an appointment with them.
The worst thing about Moorpark College is the class sizes are extremely large and there are not enough offered. It is very hard to get the specialized classes needed if you are not a priority regestered student.
The worst thing about my school is the lack of involvment students have with each other and the school. For the most part everyone's just passing through, trying to transfer or get their AA. No one really stops and gets to know anyone or look around and see what a beautiful campus we have. The community college seems to have a very different atmosphere than a 4 year institution.
Worst thing about Moorpark College is that there is not a large Covered Co-ed Lounge area where enviroment is relaxed and open & away from classes. Such a place would be great for student relations and give Co-eds a platform to Share n Express thought, inbetween akward class schedules. The liabrary & cafeteria both are nice areas but are structured more towards functional then social.
The worst thing about my school would be the professors and how the school system works. Because it is a CC many of the professors are not as experienced or as professonal as those that provide lectures at a CSU or a UC. That being said the level of education that can be provided to a student is limited. The college system it is very slow and unorganized. The web portal for students is sloppy and it takes time to understand it. Also they dont believe in drop boxes and because of that turning in a paper takes hours.
I would say the worst thing about my school would be that the classrooms have too many students. Most people want to go to Moorpark College because it costa less than other schools.
