What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Dan

The most frustrating thing about this school is the lack of football championships in the last decade.

In all honesty, I really love Moorpark College. They offer support, counseling, and many other services students can use. There's always someone willing to help you get the answers you're looking for or redirect you to someone who has that information. If I had to pick something I didn't like about the school it would be that there is not enough parking for the students who attend. Finding a spot can be very frustrating.

I graduated from Cal State Northridge in 2008 and there were several frustrating things about that school, but the most would have to be the advisors. Instead of encouraging me to do my best they told me I should take fewer and easier classes so I would not burn out. If they simply looked at my high school transcript they would have seen that I can handle a heavy work load. Instead, they seemed to assume that every student at that school was an underachiever. Because of this and impacted courses it took me a year longer to graduate.

I have been taking online classes and as a single mom it's hard to find time to be able to study and turn all of my work in. Next semester I feel that going back to school will be easier on me because I will be doing most of my work in school. Still, all of the stress and long hours of studying is all worth it in the end.

Last semester, I was enrolled in a Statistics class. My grandfather died the second week of class making me miss vital information. After that week, my grades in that class were going down. I finally decided to get tutored so I could pass the class. Well sure enough I started getting 103{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} and 118*{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} on my tests, but I was still given a C in the class, even though I worked really hard and proved that I deserved a B in the class. The math department doesnt not care about the success rate of their students. That's very frustrating.
