In my opinion, the worst part of my experience at Morehouse is the general lack of education of social issues. While, that is a commonplace issue, it saddens me that amongst so many intelligent individuals that there is such a lack of social conciousness, especially since that conciousness is a large part of achieving Morehouse's goal of creating leaders and world- changers. The school needs to do its best to educate and inform its students beyond the media that they see on TV. Beyond their own general experience. Show us the world for what it is and can be.
somewhat unorganized at times
The worst thing about my school is the lack of extra-curricular activities it offers for students for I always expected college to be full of activities that would better assist me in becoming more versatile and diverse in terms of knowledge.
The worst thing at morehouse is the cafeteria, the food isnt always the best and the workers arent always happy to serve the studets. The cafeteria is constantly running out of food, cups, milk, soda, and many more things that they supply the students with. the tables are soemtimes not clean and the students sometimes have to eat on a fiflthy table, the food isnt always healthy and have the times doesnt taste good.
parking, limited.
The worst thing about my school is the tution and boarding cost, very expensive, but its worth every penny.
My school is not located in the safest neighborhood. Every month students at Morehouse hear about a robbery on campus. I would like to see some significant improvements in the Morehouse College Security Department.
There are several things that I regret to inform you about my School. The customerservice is horrible, there seems to be no concerns or accomidations made for students who find themselves homeless during there tenure at the institution. The sole purpose of the school is to promote brotherhoood and serve as a and that ideal is obsolete.
The worst thing is that it is oversimplified with it being single-sex and majority African-American. The world is full of different races and ethnicities and men and women as well, so an institution that is attempting to prepare one for the world should do its best to expose a student to what the world is really like.
The worst thing about my school is the process you have to go through when enrolling into classes. You first have to have all your financial aid in order because they wont even let you register without it. Without finacial aid they give your the run around until money is paid in full. So it would be a good idea to start early applying for money in college because it does become stressing at times.
I dislike the way my school goes about money situations sometimes.
The worst thing is getting our refunds so late because the friends that I have at other schools, they always get there school refunds almost immediately after the semester starts. With Morehouse College, you would be lucky if you got it within a month that the semester started.
I believe the fact that some students pay all that money and if we are off campus, we still dont have a meal plan or parking permits that are at an affordable price.
Money. Make sure you have a plan ready if your going to go with using Financial Aide. Also make sure you check to see what scholarships are available because there is a lot of money out there for college students that isn't being used. It doesn't even take that much to get the money, sometimes just a essay or even just an application. Then once you get to school, see if there are any school jobs, make sure you have money because the worst thing is being a college student with no money
Sometimes the competiveness amongs students is so strong, that it's sometimes divisive
Everybody who attends Morehouse College says the same thing: They love the college, but they hate Gloster Hall - the administration building. The administrative support is the worst thing about attending this school. The faculty, community, and culture are phenomenal. However, the administration is often unhelpful, lazy, and quick to give students the runaround. One often learns how to be persistent and force results through when they need to.
Some teachers can be harsh in terms of grading.
the facilities are not the best and the campus itself is not that of a college campus. It is way too small!
