Morton College is a very well operating institution. The advisors are very helpful and involved in helping you succeed. There is always someone to greet you when you walk into the facility. They always try to engage with the students or have opportunities to get involved. It's a decent community college.

Morton College is a great community college that is well and good to start a education path or to get a 2 year degree . They are very helpful when it comes to needing help for anything. They are very interactive with he community their students come from. They offer help for students who look and need it. Overall a very nice and achievement college to go to.

It is a good school to get your basics done and also if you don't know what you want to major in yet, it is a cheap way to find out.The teachers give you a schedule of their available office hours for extra help, which is very helpful. Also, the counselors are willing to work with you as well.

Emily

Morton is a great place to get general education credits and transfer credits to a four year university. The website Rate my Professor gives insight to the professors there and you are able to make your classes around what kind of teaching method you prefer.

Morton College FAQS

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The advice that I would give myself would be to not take Dance as a major at Columbia even though your dance teacher from the park recommended it and take more basic general education courses. Taking those dance courses was fun and a great learning experience for me but I should have concentrated more on the general education. Also instead of going to Columbia where I know have a government student loan that I owe from there go to a community college first to get your Associates Degree. It is a lot more cheaper and is way more closer because you would have gone to Morton which I am going to right now. Don't take your life for granted and don't expect everything to be handed to you because its not and if you want to make this experience a little easier then ask questions, go and look for help, and take classes that will matter to your future.

  3. What's unique about your campus?

The best thing i consider about my school would be the working environment. Everyone in my school comes there to learn and better themselves. There is no one hanging around outside and doing other things besides getting their educations. The only groups of people you will see are the ones studying in the library. The teachers are also very determined and will help you as long as you help yourself.

  5. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about the school I used to attend would be that there is very little money to give the afterschool programs. These programs would be there to help kids stay out of the streets and drugs. The theater would have to reuse material that there would be very little of. The problem is that the scoll seems to pay more attention to the sports then to say the horticulure club. People have come to see shows and ask us from where did we get the money to buy but we tell them that we take donations from anyone.

  7. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

My school is extremely encouraging. I transferred to Morton College from DePaul University because I was confused on my major. Upon going to Morton College I was able to be motivated and encouraged by phenomenal professors that not only exposed me to new ideas, but also contributed to my artistic abilities. My professors encouraged my photographic ability and I am now no longer afraid to pursue a career in Photography.

I don't believe that there is a single person in the world that shouldn't have the opportunity to attend school. Education is extremely important and without such an opportunity a lot of possibilities could be overlooked.
