I wish that someone had told me to keep organized and take good notes during class because some professors are hard to understand at first. I also wish that I had known to ask for help before I failed a test or assignment so that I didn't have to play catch-up for the rest of the semester.

How much hard work college is. The professors are great. They really care about their students. They work with you and really help. Do the best you can do and I think you will enjoy this close knit community. You will make friends and enjoy the atmosphere.

The biggest thing I wish I would have known before going to college is self-discipline. During your high school years, you are told what your schedule is and you are expected to be there or you will have consequences. The consequences range from extra homework to the worst case scenario being expulsion. In college it is a completely different ball field. You know what your classes are and what your schedule is, but ultimately it's you who has to make sure that you're there on time or your the one who suffers in the end.

How much I wasn't going to like it

The library hours are almost nonexistent, the cafeteria food is always fried food and makes most students sick, and the weather - it snows from October through May.
