Mount Ida College is a small, tight-knit community. I love how the professors are very involved when it comes to academic work, it also benefits students that many of the faculty are adjunct. Ida is right next to Boston which gives students access to fun events in the city on week days and weekends. The students here are very passionate about what they study, I am happy to call myself a mustang for life.
This school favors the Vet techs, business, dental, and sports management majors. Everything else is almost irrelevant. There is not much to do on campus, we can't throw parties, and we rarely have events. If we do have events, they're poorly advertised and the turnout is normally 10-15 people. If even that. Campus police are called for even the slightest of reasons and tend to have bad attitudes. Health services is all the ay across campus, closes at 4, runs by appointment, and is not open on weekends. This means when students need care the most (at nights and weekends) they have to wait untill the next morning or school day.
I love the program that I am in. Because we are a smaller school, we may not have as many social opportunities as other schools and the policies are strict but we have a lot of career related opportunities.
I love this school. It is the perfect school for those that don't want to be a part of a large school. Mount Ida is small and a tight-knit community. Since it is such a small school classes are small so students are able to have that one on one that we were used to in previous school years. I love this school, it was the perfect match for me.

Based on my personal learning experiences this far throughout college I would say that the most important three things about finding the right college for you is; how comfortable you are there, the education, and the total cost to attend the college. Unfortunately cost is an important factor in your decision whether to attend a college or not. It's important to make sure you can picture yourself attending this college and that you are comfortable there and like your fellow peers as well as your professors and other faculty members. If you are not happy somewheres it can make it be a long and unhappy four years. Also, attending college is about receiving further education. It is also important to find a college that has the major you are interested in as well as one that will suit what you are looking for in an educational experience.
A person who should attend mount ida would be someone who is open to a whole new world. Mount ida has recently become my home and these students and staff are my family. This is a very fun vibrant campus with lots to do and wonderful scenery. I am very fortunate to be here and to have this experience. If you do come here, my advice would be to have a open mind and open heart. Go Mustangs!
A dirverse community, filled with opportunities and potential student to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Nothing. I asked all the questions I wanted to know and they were all answered accurately.
I tell my friends that Mount Ida has an amazing Design program and is in a very safe city. I also tell them how great I am doing because the professors are hands on and care very much for their students.
The most frustrating thing at Mount Ida College is how the food is disgusting. They only serve the best food during lunch and never during dinner, some people dont understand on why they do that.
The best thing about Mount Ida is the diversity of the campus and the specified programs it has to offer students. The campus offers a tranquil and home like atmosphere which allows students to feel comfortable as they pursue their studies.
I would say the worst thing about my school is some of the room conditions but like alot of other campus's, we are changing and making the campus a whole lot better.
people who are up tight and serious all the time, people who don't know how to have fun.
They were well deserving and great people to be around with.
This school is best known for its science classes, specifically dental hygiene, biology, veterinary studies and mortuary studies.
Our school is a small community compared to other schools. I think this is unique because it creates a close environment where most people know everyone on campus. However, it is not too small because there is a chance to meet new people everyday.
The work load in graphic design is astronomical and the feedback is mean and unhelpful.
