Our school is a small community compared to other schools. I think this is unique because it creates a close environment where most people know everyone on campus. However, it is not too small because there is a chance to meet new people everyday.

I believe the lay out of the campus is unique in that during the warmer months there is a small bridge which overlooks a pond. Mount Ida also has a pool present on campus and the activities offered to students vary from sports to inward reflection in their new meditation center.

Mount ida has small classes which help students do better in school. The location of school is suburban setting but the city is not far, so it has the best of both worlds. My school has a strong school spirt and has a strong school statement which they try to encourage students to go by, which is From Potential To Acheivment. Their diverse and have many clubs. They are very strong for helping students with their school work. They have tutoring, a writing center, counseling for students and a heath center on campus which is very important.
