I like the campus, and most everyone here is friendly and helpful. I really like my instructors; they always have time for any issues I might have, and are totally invested in my learning. I play intercollegiate sports, so I am really enjoying the athletic vibe here at MVC. Looking forward to a great career here and what my future holds.

Mountain View College is an amazing college that I have been apart of for the last four years. I haven't had any problems, and it is truly the ideal school environment. The professors are great, and so is the staff. There are many facilities available to students such as the welding lab, math tutoring centers, computer lab, the library, etc. I really like the S building, which is a building that contains a subway, the mvc store, testing centers, and nurse's office. On top of everything, Mountain View has a beautiful campus and outdoor area. I enjoy walking in the outdoor areas of MVC because of the nature and even wildlife you can find.

Jaz

Great college that was a good start to my college career. I started attending this college at the age of fourteen and will graduate in about a month. I have had a marvelous time here and look forward to the next step in my life. I had some good professors and some tough ones but I learned a lot attending this school. I made a smart decision choosing this college. They have a good dual credit program.

Taylor

I really like the college. The college focuses on empowering people an transforming communities, which is what they do. This college is really about impacting the world abroad. They host many community events. Associations and groups come from all over to raise awareness about their services and programs at the college. The U.S Army and other organizations come to the college to make sure students know their programs and organization exist. Overall, Mountain View College is a really great school

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Taylor, you know that you like to socialize and have a good time. Schedule your classes late so that if you do go out at night and come home late you're not haveing to worry about rushing to class or missing the next morning. Ask for help. Don't sit in the back of the classroom and staying quiet if you're confused about something that's being taught. You're in school to learn so don't be afraid to ask questions. Finally don't allow friends and relationships cloud your judgement or distract you from getting your work done. Work now play later.

  5. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

When I think of the worst thing about Mountain View College, the only thing that comes to mind is trying to find classrooms. It can get confusing at times. On the first day of school, my first class was in room 165 and my second class was in room 168. Now that sounds like it should be easy to find, but it wasn't. To the right of the class and around the corner was room 171. I'm thinking 168 would be in between those two classrooms. Oh no, room 168 was to the left of 165.

  7. What kind of person should attend this school?

If you think that you may be overwhelmed by everything that goes on at University (living with strangers, the amoung of people on campus, the large classes etc.) then a community college is better. Also if you can't afford to go to a University right away then a community college is also a good place to go. It's literally a mini- univeristy with the exception of living on campus. You get to be at home, there aren't as many students, the classes are smaller and it's a lot cheaper.

  10. What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about my school, other than the professors, is all of the resources that are available. The career services center is a big help, especially for students who are sure which path they should take when it comes to their future, like me. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a forensic scientist or a pediatircian. With the help of career services, I was given a career assesment test that let me know I should be a pediatrician. The crazy thing is, I haven't thought about being one since I was a kid.

The type of person that should not attend this school is one that does not take there education seriously. The campus is great, and so far my professors have been great. They are eager to help us succeed in our school education. So a student who does not do there work, is not willing to try, and has other prioreties that hinder there academic performance should not attend this school.
