Mount San Antonio College is an overall great school with many opportunities. The school campus is well maintained and consists of an equestrian, planetarium, horticulture greenhouse, and on-site child care center. Additional student resources are available and readily accessible.
Overall great college. It has a lot of new facilities. The professors are helpful and want you to succeed. There are a lot of opportunities to take different classes that you might be interested in. You also get to meet new people inside of your classes.
I think the school overall is very sheltered and many people walk around with a stick up their bum. Many people are also very entitled but the professors want to actually help the students here. I also think the extracurricular events outside of classes are very useful and very fun for people trying to make friends.
I love this college and the staff and students spirits there! Always very friendly and helpful staff and students! Every time I need help from professors they are easy to find and fast to respond to any questions or concerns I may have. This is a great school I would totally recommend to anyone!

As a senior I always wanted to attend a 4 year college instead of a community college. But now that I have experienced a 2 year college, I feel that it has helped me tremendously in the transition process. If I could go back, I would strongly suggest attending a two year college first and later transferring. This will still give you the college experience without feeling overwhelmed with the pressures of a four year such as moving away from home and living in a new environment. Plus, it will save you a great deal of money which can be invested in other things and you won't have as many student loans to pay off in the future.
A mix of ages, genders, cutlural backgrounds and experiences who are all looking to learn and gain something from their college experiences.
Mt. San Antonio College has a vast diversity of students not only economically but also culturally. It is a starting point for many students to learn what they want to be in life, where the faculty will go above and beyond to help you meet your educational goals.
Cut backs . The cut back on the budget has made it almost impossible for my job here at Mt Sac to give me more than 13 hours per week
Anyone who doesn't want to learn or go to school. People have there own paths and can achieve different goals in their leves.
Mt Sac is always growing and changing it changes for the better and helps its students to achieve there goals and help understand the road they need to aquire those paths.
Anyone should attend this school. It is useful for an associate's degree or just a cheaper means of attaining the first two years of education of a bachelor degree.
My school offers great opportunities. For example, there is the EOPS program that helps students with families of low income. Not only does EOPS offer this opportunity to low income family students, but students of first college generation are welcome to join. Also, this program helps you financially and offers tutoring and great counselor advice. This specific program helps you get through college and achieve your goals. Thanks to Mt. San Antonio College programs many students are able to achieve their goals.
Mt. San Antonio community college is committed to student success!
To the best of my knowledge Mount San Antonio is best known for is their transfer program. I want to say that mostly every student goes to Mt. SAC to do their general education and then transfers to a Cal State or University.
At Mt. SAC, class registration is probably the most difficult thing. Because we're such a large school, classes fill up quickly! However there are several ways around this, and many of them are painless. If you play a sport, playing for one of the teams will get you priority registration. Running for a student government position is also helpful. Other ways of receiving priority are through - having a documented disability, participating in EOPS, joining one of the several music ensembles (some of which require no musical background!), or seniority (meaning you have over 40 units!).
Before coming to Mt. SAC I wish I would have been aware of how truly encouraging and helpful all the staff is. From administration to professors I have yet to meet someone hesitant to answer a question or offer some advice for my future career goals. Had I of known about these accommodations I doubt I would have waited so long to return to college.
Academics are great and keep a excellent handle on balancing your grades.
The stereotype at Mt.SAC is that students that come here are "dumb" or "stupid" people that could not get into any public or private schools from high school. This stereotype could not be anymore wrong. Many students that I have met got into schools such as University of Southern California, University of California, Riverside and Pepperdine University. The primary reason why they come to Mt.SAC is that it is much cheaper. These students either did not qualify for enough scholarships or their parents could not afford to pay for their housing, food, or tuition.
I wouldn't know ;A;
Mostly great teachers Clubs are great but can be more involved the Counselors are a great quality to talk to but the Dean of the school doesn't seem to be much involved nor have I ever seen him. The Hospitality major I'm looking for offers excellent classes.
