I am not a very social person, but even I have gotten to know how friendly many students are. Students are diverse in ethnicity, age, and ideology. Many are full-time students and work, a good amount live around the area and use the bus to travel.

There is a great line between involved students and students that are forced just to be there. Then involved students are majority already decided on majors and involved in clubs.

The students are Mt.SAC are ambitious. Whether its to transfer or to get an Associates degrees, students will do what they have to in order to attain their goals. Many of the students that apply to transfer to competitive schools could have gone there from high school, but chose not because they wanted to save money. This goes to show that the students are Mt.SAC are smart, hardworking, and show leadership skills.

My classmates are all different, from the quiet kid to the loud one who always has thier hand up.

I think the best way to describe my classmates is that they vary greatly from age, race, majors, home life to goals and participation in class.
