Unlike a lot of public schools, Multnomah offers an incredible community. It's not a huge school, but it's just big enough to get lost in a crowd you know. At bigger universities you're lucky if you can find someone to eat with, but at Multnomah it's rare to walk a hall without running into someone. Everyone knows one another, and can stop and talk about what's going on in their lives without feeling awkward or exposed. Its a genuinely caring, comfortable, open enviroment.
The best thing about Multnomah would be the community within the student body. The community at MU is very "tight-knit", everybody seemingly knows everybody, and the community is very hospitable, if you wave or say hi, there will be reciprocation. Also, the community of people are very caring for one another. If your head's down, or you look in a depressive, saddened state, somebody will approach you and inquire about your predicament, for no other reason other than trying to help you.
The best thing about my school is their emphasis on Ministry and Bible. Which is not surprising considering they are a Bible University. I am excited to learn more about the word of God and Serve. The teachers are amazing as well, they care about what they are teaching and many of them are published authors. The student body is also very awesome! It is a small school so everybody gets to know everybody.
The best thing about my school is that everyone is interested in the same thing and that is learning about God and growning closer to the Lord. Everything at the school is resolved around learning and growing in the Lord. This is a great thing because you have people around you who want to see you grow deeper with the Lord and you want the same for them. This is living out the verse "as iron sharpens iron so man sharpens man," and this is amazing.
The best thing about my school is the atmosphere and the people I get to interact with. I just love the family feeling there. Also the professors are all so nice and helpful.
The community at my school is fantastic. It feels like we are one big family. The Resident Assitants are amazing. The Professors deep care about the students. the whole culture at my university is very loving and warm-hearted.
