I very chill and friendly place. The professors are knowledgable and nice. I have only been to the Mexia and Corsicana Campuses, but they are quiet and pretty well kept. The online courses are pretty good but I do wish they would not rely so heavily on Cengage for everything:It is expensive and not high quality. The students are top-notch and Beau the bulldog is adorable.
My overall opinion of Navarro college is that I love it. I recommend it to all of my friends, and family that want to go to college. It is a great place to start if you do not know what you want to do as a career in the future. Great people. Staff will recommend things to you, if you are lost.
I love Navarro college, it's a place of self-discovery. At Navarro diversity is key, and is very excepting of others. No matter the race or Sexuality, Navarro is great at making everyone feel welcomed. plus Navarro is also good at keeping zero violence on campus with their around the clock patrolling, Navarro campus Waxahachie is a safe place.
It is a really good two year school to go to to get your basics. Most of the classes are fairly small but that is good because it means more one-on-one time with your professors. Plus, if you are like I was and can't decide on a major right away, it is okay! The staff goes above and beyond to help you change your major as many times as you need.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Navarro College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I had to talk to myself as a senior I would have to stress the importance of my grades. I would have to tell myself that if I want to get into a good university then I will have to keep my GPA up. There will be temptations to go out and have fun with friends, which is perfectly fine; just limit yourself. Make sure that you put school before all else. Try to make all of the deadlines for assignments. Colleges look to see if your grades start to drop, especially in the last semester, so push yourself to strive for bigger and better things. Know that you can achieve whatever you put your mind to as long as you believe in yourself. The trick is to stay motivated, whether by telling yourself positive things or by surrounding yourself with the right friends and environment. The people you surround yourself with will either push you towards your goals or bring you down with them. As long as you can stay in a healthy environment your attitude towards school and grades will be great and will only get better. So be great and do great things.
The worst thing is that the school is in a small city, so there isnt much to do off campus, but the school has alot to do on campus.
Navarro is a very small school, but has great academic programs.
The personal care the students recieve at Navarro is what makes it unique than the other schools. All my teachers care for their students and want them to succeed. I am a work study and my boss is the most caring person I have ever met. The ladies at the cafeteria remeber you and what you would like for breakfast every morning. Even the mail lady recongizes you and gives you a friendly wave. The Navarro campus is full of loving people and that is why I chose Navarro College.
The athletic program because it finishes in the top in the national almost every years amongst junior colleges.
I wish I had known that I really did need to study about 4 hours a day to do as well as I expected.

My classmates at Navarro College are all there to learn; you hardly have an interuptions.

Uneducated, and of course its wrong. I think Navarro have very intelligent students. I think you can put us against a university and we might win.
The type of person that should attend a school like this is somebody who has the same mind frame of a student in the military or the navy.
The most frustrating thing about Navarro in Waxahachie is that sometimes the teachers don't fully explain everything. That and when other students don't pay attention and are always messing around in class. You can tell very easily from the people paying for college out of there own pocket, and the ones whos parents are paying.
