Neumont University Top Questions

What are the academics like at your school?

Joshua

The workload is INTENSE and HEAVY. You go to school (on average) for about 5-6 hours a day and go home with about 4-8 hours of homework a night. This is NOT for the weak, the lazy, those addicted to gaming, or those who are prone to procrastinate.

The Life at neumont is never dull, because there is always something going on. student affairs is always got activities that student can participate in to get there mind off of school.

Neumont is a small school. This provides it with many advantages that otherwise you couldn't find. One of my favorite things about Neumont is the fact that after a year or so here you'll know almost every full time teacher Neumont employs.

Wes

Its very personal here, most of my professors and I are on a first name basis. It fits for an average college life, as much as it can for the fast pace learning. My peers are incredibly smart and have wonderful conversations on a daily basis.

We study constantly using a hands-on approach. The amount of information is fast, but Neumont delivers it in a way that it just doesn't go through you. It's focused but it's also broad. Lots of coding skills with soft skills as well. You code from day one, work in groups from day one, have several internships before graduation, and then land a sweet job.
