New Jersey Institute of Technology Top Questions

What kind of person should not attend this school?

Daniel

If you don't know what you want to major in or lack organizational skills you may find this school to be difficult to attend as you may fall easily behind. There is little to no tolerance for late turned in work and while some professors will allow you to do extra work for a missing grade it is not an adviced course of action here. Math and Physics are not courses for the faint of heart, if you lack an affinity for mathematics or science this school should be avoided.

George

A person who also does not understand the nature of technical field who wants to go to a technical field should not attend this school either because there are not many options to transfer out of a technical major here. Also people who really love women because there are hardly any here.

Kristina

Noel

Marie

I honestly don't know how to answer this question because I'm a Communications and Media Major and attend a Techinical Institute. I'm doing what i love here and I'm not a engineer or architect major. It all depends upon what the prospective student wishes to do with his or her life in terms of getting a degree and career choice. There's something for everyone at NJIT.

Hector

This is a very math driven school that really looks upon the study and reserch of science and technology. It does not have many artistic driven aspects to it, so the student that decides to come here should be very keen on their work. Preferably a major in architecture or engineering should be the ultimate purpose for a studentt to come here. It is a very competitive and work driven school.
