New Mexico Junior College is the institution I am attending for my final two years of high school, as I am part of an Early College program for my school. It has been a wonderful experience and a great opportunity to begin my college career far earlier than I normally could. The facilities are clean, orderly, and maintained. The learning environment is exemplary and the professors excellent. I would strongly recommend this junior college for anyone going for their Associate's degrees.
New Mexico junior college is a great place to further your education. The campus is small enough to navigate but big enough for everything that is needed. The professors are very interactive and I have never had a bad experience with anyone. The class sizes are small and allow for great one on one learning and small group study’s that I find very beneficial. Overall New Mexico Junior College is a safe and comfortable learning environment that I have grown to love.
New Mexico junior college is a great start for students to begin higher education. It offers small classes and cheap tuition. There are also many clubs available such as; theater club or an honor society. It’s a nice knit community. The staff and faculty are very helpful.
I enjoy the close knit community. Pretty much you walk around campus and know a lot of people but we also have people from all over the world. It is a great place to meet new people but it is also a very safe environment. I do wish we had more sports and activities to do but we make do with what we have.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for New Mexico Junior College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would have given myself the advice to be more prepared than I already was. I tried to prepare myself financially, mentally, etc. for the transition, but being more prepared would have helped greatly. I did not recieve financial aid, so I knew it would be tough, but I believe if I would have started saving up money before my senior year I would have been better off financially. Also, I would say talk to the school counselors more and the teachers in my major in order to become fimiliar with the campus and staff. Knowing the teachers and who to talk to is an important factor in order to stay on track.
NMJC is a great college. Here at the college there is very nice people that like to help me in any way they can. I am pleased in how the instructors treat the students and how they teach. The apartments I live in here at the college are like our homes. The workers at the apartment respect me and the rest of the students. I am glad I chose the NMJC to attend and stay on campus. It could not get any better.
The classmates I have are nice. They also help me in any way they can. Here at the NMJC we students help everyone to success. I could not have better classmates then here at the New Mexico Junior College.
I wish I would have known about all the organizations in the school before hand. For example, I am now in Student Support Services. If I would have known about this organization before I began shcool I would have signed up then. It is a great organization in helping and aiding students with multiple ordeals.
I have not discovered anything horribly bad about my school so far. I believe the school could have a little bit more communication with one others departments in order to provide better service to the students and/or prospective students. Communication is key.
