What I would consider the best thing about my school is that while the school feels small and distant from major cities, the community on the campus is rather close. It makes getting adjusted to being on campus or even starting college for the first time a little easier.
The best thing about Nicholls is that since it is the smallest University in Louisiana, it is very easy to get involved in many intermural sports, clubs, and activities. Most Nicholls students are involved in at least three clubs or sports. It's great!
The best thing about my school would be the size of the school. Nicholls is big enough to provide high qaulity programs and has a lot of worldwide connections to help students become experments in their field. On the other hand Nicholls is one of the smallest campus in Louisiana which is great to provide enough room for personal growth. The teachers are easy to meet with and services are open 5 out of the 7 days to help with student needs. Nicholls may be too small building wise but that is why they provide a high level of education.
How much the staff cares about the students. It's important in helping us as students succeed.
The ease with which you can get around campus. You can time your classes one ten minutes after the other and still get to class on time because the classes are grouped inside certain buildings and many of the buildings are very close together. It also takes only about ten minutes to cross the whole campus.
I have grown to like that Nicholls State has a 'small' campus and that classes aren't too crowded. This allows for professors to have more one-on-one time with students.
The best thing about my school is the perfect size of the school. It's not too big and it's not too small. The perfect size makes the classes easier.
Beings I'm a Music Education Major, I love the availability of going to and playing in local performances. The social network you make in this school is amazing because it is a smaller local college. You make friends and meet people that will help you further in your career.
Classrooms are small. The professors know your name. You are not addressed by a number.
