The worst thing about my school is the perception of it. I love my school and just about every student that goes here has a heart full of pride but most times those who have never been or have come solely to party generalize it as a "party school". A lot of other students get offended when they hear this misconception as well. Undoubtedly, we do have the Greatest Homecoming On Earth and celebrate when it's time to have fun but we also get our work done and strive to excel academically.
The worst thing about my school is the image my school has in the local area. Many high school students see it as the party school of North Carolina. I wish more local residents knew how much potential North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University could bring out of high school students.
The worst thing about my school is that there is not much to do in the Greensboro area.
The worst thing about my school is the students there seem to party way too much. Most student don't be able to finish school because they are wasting there time on stuff that's not important. Stuff will not help them graduate in college and get a degree.
The worst thing was that i did not recieve any assistance with a job search after graduating. The school also is big on fraternaties and sororities so they focus alot on popularity when it comes to voting.
The only thing I can say I don't like about my school is that there are some dorms that still need to be updated.
We have inflated tuition
The large population of students is what I believe to be the worst thing about my school. With so many students it is easy to become just a number and not a reconized person where the professers and administration know me by name.
Can't really think of anything. Maybe the availability of classes needed to stay on track for graduation.
To be honest there really isn't anything that I would consider bad at my school. There could be more room for people to get the class that they would like because alot of the time space in the class run out, and then you have to wait for the next semester to take the class which really bothers me.
The worst thing about NC A&T is the lack of enthusiasm from students. I feel like too many students at this school only come to party and be away from home, instead of trying to learn and grow into a greater person.
nothing.
The worst thing about my school is the status that we give fraternities and sororities. I don?t know how it?s done at other schools, but at mine the fraternities and sororities are treated with invisible special privileges. Similar to an unspoken rule, these groups can do and say whatever they like with little to no consequence. Many people any campus are actually intimidated by them and if I were to change something about my school, I would change this.
The worst thing about my school is that is automatically prejudged by society. Most people think that A&T is just a party school, but they never seem to realize the academic aspects of the university. This discredits our college and also the black community, because we are prejudged to be extreme "party animals".
The worst thing about North Carolina A&T is dealing with financial aid. It is very important that you keep accurate records of papers that deal with your tuition, room and board etc. Financial aid and bookeeping will drop your classes if you do not pay your tuition or set up some kind of payment plan at the start of each semester. This is a serious problem because once your classes are dropped it will be very difficult to get a good schedule afterwards.
The worst thing about my school would be how they take care of you. the dorms are small and the food is gross. u spend all your flex dollars (aggie bucks) on junk food and you gain weight. some of the dorms how rodents in them. some of the dorms have filthy bathrooms....we do have really nice dorms, but they are thousands of dollars more than traditional ones. for someone who doesn't have a loan, a suite is not an option and the cafe will have to do.
The worst thing about the school is the distance away from home.
the worst thing abot my school is the out of state tution
The worst thing about my school, i would say is the unorganization. For example the long period of time your spent trying to get your classes and money together is crazy. Sometimes money is misplaced and classes are then dropped, leave me (the student) to have to fix the problem on my own.
THe worst thing about NC A&T SU is the drop out rate is so high because some students don't take their futures serious enough.
The whole school. The Financial Aid Office is horrible, the administation are rude, and no one knows what they are doing.
The worst thing I consider about my school would be the cafeteria food. I understand there are alot of people from different backgrounds attending the school & everybody isn't going to like the same food but our cafe isn't tasty at all. Majority of the people that I hang around hates the cafe food. It seems like our cafe puts food together, for example tater tot casserole. Tater tots in a casserole doesn't mix.
me not fitting in with the people, the staff not really caring, the school giving me the run around, the school having so many technical problems, and the school not having a lot of fun activities
The worst thing about my school in my opinion, would be the overall cost to attend. This statement includes tuition, books, fees, parking permits, living arrangements, meal plans, etc.
The worst thing about NCAT is the food in the cafeteria .
The worst thing about my school is the fact that the attitudes of some of the administration is very poor and they are not very tolerant of those who may not have all of the funds to afford school but are trying their hardest to come up with the money.
The food isn't as good as it could be.
Be prepared to step up and be a young adult. task brought forth to you will show your maturity levels and your sigh school lesson will be tested also be aware mommy and daddy cant go to your teachers and have parent teacher conferences an more so stay on top of your school work. And athletes learn now to differentiate play time with study time. sports and academics mix hand in hand cant have one with out the other. There like siamese twin. so be smart and get it right from the start.
the caf
The worst thing is not having any friends to hang out with.
It's hard to say because there are solittle things i don'l like, but I would have to say the thing i hate the most is the price of the school store we have. They are very high. I am very greatful, however, for the convinience of it.
The worst thing that I consider about my school will be how they are not that good abut organizing events and getting back with students quicker
The surrounding area. It isn't very city like or student influenced.
The worst thing about my school is the cafe, there arent enough vegeterian optionsand the options available arent healthy at all.
It is not affordable. Im already financially struggling and i am only in my second year of college.
The promptness of financial aid and the plublicity of all the resources available on campus. The campus has lots to offer, but often times students who are not active, are not aware of the many things offered.
The lack of structure, order, amongst the faculty
No on campus parties. If you don't drive, you better know someone who does.
More focus on technical fields leaves less funding for liberal arts fields.
the worst thing is that there are not alot of activities that go on during the weekends. students want to have fun too. we need another alternative for the parties.
After four years, you need to leave. I wish I could have stayed longer.
At times, the university gets a bad name due to single situations. Every school has its downfalls and lost children that go stray and the public need not to focus on the negative but see all the good that is being done.
Teacher - student service is very poor.
The worst thing about my school may be the fact that sometimes I think we have a little too much school spirit and things can get al little old after a while
The worst thing about A&T is the financail aid because out of state students do not receive enough grants to attend school.
The financial aid consultants aren't very helpful and they charge for extra things.
Dorm life and the students. I have actually heard students say they only enrolled at the school to sell drugs. The dorms are too small, too loud, and some are dangerous at times. I have been robbed outside of a freshmen dorm once, just to be told by campus security, that I made the whole thing up.
