What is your overall opinion of this school?

I believe that NC State is a great school for those with spirited interest in engineering who are not entirely sure what major they want to enter yet. The College of Engineering thrives on trying to help students find the right major for them. The school itself has a very welcoming atmosphere, and I definitely feel safe - much safer than I originally thought I would be living in a big city like Raleigh. Overall, NC State is really amazing, and I am proud to be a member of the Wolfpack!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

At first it was quite a culture shock and being a spring connection student had quite of a rushed assimilation to the college as the community is vast and diverse but as with all communities friends to be made were right around the corner. I love attending school and at the moment I do not live on campus but seeing all of the things that are involved in campus life, I can't wait to live there next semester!

It is overall a very good school, as far as public universities go. In particular, their first year engineering program is far from perfect, but it offers a good way for new students to become accustomed to college classes and choose the best engineering major for them.

Overall, I love NCSU. I came here as an out-of-state student, which is only about 16% of the school's population size. Right away, the people and atmosphere here made me feel right at home. This school never fails to amaze me with their "Southern hospitality" and I look forward to my upcoming years on campus.

NCSU is an awesome place to attend. They have great food such as Chic-fil-a and you can even build your own burrito. They are conveniently located in the heart of Raliegh, the state capitol. The sports culture is like no other, we may not be the best at sport but boy do we love them. The academics are top-notch and you have to be willing to study hard. NC State is a great place to experience all things college.

North Carolina State University is a powerful location for learning and expanding knowledge in STEM fields. There is always something going on, whether it be a movie, game, dance or several other types of activities. You can develop a great sense of community even on such a large campus.

I have loved NC State ever since I first toured it! It's definitely a school where you can 100% be yourself and still be completely accepted and find a great group of friends. I joined a sorority my freshman year to make it easier to meet people because I am out of state and it was the best decision I made. Greek life is not a necessity, but it's a ton of fun and hold many opportunities for volunteering and always having people to study with. Overall, the school is located in a great city on an amazing campus with some of the best people I have ever met!

One of the best technical/engineering schools on the east coast. Great career fairs in both the fall and spring makes it very easy to land an internship. Greek life is decent and there is usually something going on during most days of the week to keep students involved
