I tell my friends that we are one of the top engineering schools in the country as well as one of the top veterinary schools. I also brag about how awesome our facilities are and how we are building up and expanding for the better.

When I brag to my friends, I tell them about how the student atmosphere is on campus. I tell them that I always feel at home whether I am at a sporting event, going to class, or relaxing in my room. This has allowed me to thrive academically and socially as I have begun a new chapter in my life.

NC State takes sustainability to the next level by heating the campus through hydropower. Alsong with that the school has one of the best libraries in the nation that offers so many valueble resources to the students and is very technologically advanced. NC State truely cares about it's students and offers so many different activities for people to get involved in while they are here.

Our library. James Hunt Library is a brand new library build on centennial is a state of the art library, with a huge amount or resources for students and a variety of study areas. It is a fantastic place to study, as it has several study rooms with whiteboard walls, and large monitors that students can hook their laptops up to for displaying things. It has an automated "book bot" which is used to fetch books for students in an underground storage. This allows the main library floor to be dedicated for extra study areas.

I never miss an opportunity to showcase my leadership skills and mentality, or my ability to look at the big picture instead of short term. i may not want to, but I am proud to be able to admit when i see that i have made a mistake, and how I strive to correct it and make sure it doesnt happen again. I admit to have made my fair share of mistakes in the past, but I learn what I can to become wiser and more experianced.

North Carolina State University is a perfect blend of old rustic architecture, culture, and community and new technology, energy efficiency, and geren initiatives.

The new campus dedicated to engineering students with tons of research available. Plus the friendliness of most students. Everyone seems pretty happy. We all enjoy going to football and basketball teams and suppot our school.

There is a ton of new development, like a new student center and growing engineering campus. Everything is in pretty good shape and the professors can be really helpful if you are willing to make the effort to talk to them. Opposed to my friend's experiences at other universitys, I have really loved everything about my school. There are parties if you are looking for them, but theres a good balance and emphasis on being productive.

When my friends ask me about NC state, I'll brag about how the library was open twenty-four hours per day, how it was nine stories tall. You could find anything in that library -- read every major newspaper, every literary journal, novels, text-books...It was all there, and seemed to represent the center of knowledge, a towering, prestigious reminder of the value of an academic lifestyle.

The school nicely combines urban settings with a quaint, personable atmosphere. The school is reputable in many disciplines, and is well enough endowed to meet the interests of nearly any prospective student. In the Humanities college where I have spent my time, the classes are engaging, but absolutely managable, research opportunities and internships are available to the dedicated seeker, and my greatest endorsement is the quality of the faculty. Extra-curricular activities are diverse and welcoming, and the amenities available on campus are leading edge.

I love how organized and professional the staff and faculty is towards incoming, current, and former students. I also really appreciate how technologically advanced NC State is. I love the way online classes work and the accessibility to the library through the internet. The community at NC State is just great and I enjoy being here.

I have not yet attended the school, I am a transfer student heading to NC State for the spring semester, but I couldn't be more excited! Most of my friends have gone on to community colleges, or universities in the vacinity of my native Rochester, NY. Although heading many states away is nerve wracking, I accept the challenge head on and love knowing i will be getting a unique college experience as opposed to that of my friends, one of which they will be excited to hear about; and I will be ready to share.

The diversity and atmosphere are the most fantastic aspects of NC State! When you walk around the campus, you are bound to meet people from all over the county, state, country, and even other countries! This diversity creates a warm and friendly atmosphere that cannot be surpassed by any other university. THIS, is what makes NC State the perfect place to be!

How well organized programs and resources are. And the vast amount of resources and oportunities that aren't avalible else where.

When I go home and talk to my friends about NC State, the main thing I brag about are the people here. I'm from Maryland, which some people consider to be "the north", and I've discovered that southern hospitality isn't just a myth. The majority of students here are genuinely nice people, constantly saying ma'am/ sir, holding doors open, picking up dropped items, and even friendly "hello's" from peers in class. It was definitely a welcome change from what I was used to, after growing up right outside of DC.

There are many chances to meet new people and make more friends. Such events as football games, career fairs, and seminars are a great place to meet people.

North Carolina State University is a fun-loving campus, in which someone can feel at home. There are many organizations to get involved in and feel like you are a part of the university. There are always club meetings, sporting events, or social events happening on campus. Any where you go, you will find something to do. It is a diverse campus and anyone will find some way to fit in. Go Wolfpack!

I always tell people how many great opportunities there are at State. There is always something to do that can fit everyone's interests. I also love our great school spirit and sense of community. If you see anyone if a school shirt on you know you can easily talk to them and get along.

Getting into North Carolina State University alone is something to brag about. It’s a very competitive school and requires a show of discipline. However, I brag because it is one of the top rated schools in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Studies. Seeing as how I wish to become a Veterinarian it is an amazing feeling to know that I have been accepted to a top school.

The psychology department at NC State and the professors I have had and the passion they have for teaching the subject they teach.

How big we are. Although this sounds intimidating it actually has provided me with a ton of opportunities that I wouldn't have gotten in a smaller school. There are so many clubs, sports, and volunteer opportunies on campus. This allows me to pick and choice things of interest to me and its a great opportunity to meet new people of all different backgrounds. The culture and acceptance of students on campus is excellent and I feel right at home.

How often I get to play ultimate frisbee and how even though we are not local to any mountains on which we go snowboarding/skiing, we still have the ski and board club which I am part of and thoroughly enjoy.

I brag that I go to a school with a wide variety of people, and every day brings different experiences that I will cherish for a long time to come.

N.C. State is a big school that combines strong athletic programs with strong academic programs.

I brag about lots of NC State's perks to my friends! Firstly, I love the research and academic opportunities that State offers. None of my friends at other schools have had the same opportunities that I have had. In the past semester I have discovered a new bacteriophage in my Biotechnology research class and sent it off to a lab for genetic sequencing. This opportunity never would have been available to me if I had selected another school. Also, the food isn't that bad! My friends at other schools complain all the time, but ours is actually decent.

I definitely brag about the school spirit! Our WOLFPACK RED &WHITE is like no other! The campus is made up of manypeople with different beliefs,races,and views but one thing we ALL see eye to in is that the NCSU WOLFPACK is absolutely INCREDIBLE! attendence at all sporting events is always flooded by NC State students and Alumni! Once part of the pack your always part of the pack. The way we support each other as a family says it all. The pack has your back. GO STATE!!!!

The thing I would have to brag the most about at NC State is the sense of unity one feels during big events on campus. On game days, for example, almost everyone is dressed in red and ready to cheer on the Wolfpack! It has been said that the "strength of the wolf is the pack", and we live by that credence. People go out of their way to make friends with others on campus, as well as in small groups or clubs that are available at State. All of these things lead to a great college experience here.

The only thing I brag about at my school is that its a fun place to be. There is so many different people from so many different backgrounds that it is a joy to meet new people.

What I brag about most when I am talling my friends about my school is how technologically advanced my school is, especially the library and the engineering campus. I also brag about how we get a high quality education for a pretty cheap price.

I really love how everyone here has such school spirit but at the same time is really humble and fun.

When bragging to friends, the point I like to make is that NC State has a very large amount of opportunities for undergraduate research, unique courses, internships and for studying abroad. For the biological science related fields, NC State is perhaps one of the best in the region and has a prestigous reputation for research. Our facilities are also amazing. Our library lets you check out electronics is open 24 hours. The gym is also very large and up to date. Not to mention we have a Taco Bell right in the middle of campus.

North Carolina State has a beautiful campus, right near Raleigh and right in the middle of the research triangle where a lot of big companies work and look for graduating students to work for them. It's easy to get from place to place and you can quickly feel right at home with the friends you meet. All the students and staff are very spirited and enthusiastic about both academics, and athletics.

I brag about our science department and explain to them how many students we have that get into medical school.

The research, research, research.

The thing that I brag about the most when I tell my friends about my school is the food there. They have some awesome food. They have a whole lot of different selections to choose from as far as meals are concerned. They have vegetables, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, sub sandwiches, and barbecue. I think that it is awesome that they give us such a good selection of foods to eat because, in some places, you do not have that luxury.

Again engineering. The education and how NCSU focuses more on hands-on experience in engineering majors. Students who participate in the CO-OP program would most likely graduate with a 12-month working experience on their resume.

It's a top rated school with an excellent Vet program that I will hopefully get into.

I love the College of Design. The faculty are qualified and helpful and I learn so much!

That the campus is huge; that there are a lot of places to hang out on campus and off campus; and that the GYM and the Library are amaaaazzzing!!

What i brag about most is how nice and big the campus is and how you always meet new people. I brag about the school spirit and also about the partying and other activities people do in there spare time.

Career Services- lots of job fairs and interviews for internships, co-ops, and permanent placement right on campus. Cultural diversity of the area-- everything from korean, middle eastern, ethiopean, mexican, and jewish markets within walking distance of campus. The upperclassmen are always eager to help new students, or just students in general are eager to help each other and be friendly. I don't know where I'd be today if it weren't for some of the upper classmen that befriended me. The campus is beautiful-- the landscaping is gorgeous. There is always something blooming. Always.

I tell my friends about the quality of the classes and the large amount of extra curricular activities there are.

I dont brag. But I talk about my extracurricular involvements and my career progress.

I love the school spirit! The community comes together to support the University no matter what the event or circumstances.

The thing I mostly brag about to my friends about North Carolina State University is the impressive education opportunities provided by the Engineering program. The engineering program here at North Carolina State University is one of the best engineering programs in the country. Going here allows me to have so many opportunities to learn from the best and have a better standing with companies that would be more likely to hire from here.

Excellent engineering program, excellent value for your money, excellent reputation in athletics, excellent school pride.

I usually tell them that it is a really great community and that there is something for everyone here at NCSU. Also, I say that there is the opportunity to to study and do whatever you like during your undergraduate years, whether ir be undergraduate research or underwater basket weaving, NCSU has it; and if they don't you can start it yourself.
