The best thing about NC State is the location. I love being near the capital. There's job oppurtunities...you aren't too far from the beach or the mountains. There's plenty of entertainment and sports. There are a lot of other things to do other than school. NC State also has excellent extracircular activitites and clubs. I am part of the club lacrosse team. The club lacrosse team gives me the oppurtunity to enjoy the sport I love, stay in shape, and travel to other schools to play their teams.

I think the best thing about my school is the campus activities that I do other than class. They provide fun and help releive the stress of classes.

From my time at NCSU, I have come to find the professors to be very involved and interested in their students. They do all in their power to help students find their path, to find suitable classes for their chosen majors, to find jobs, and to find tutors for difficult classes. The professors are always open and easy to talk to, and enthusiatic about their teaching.

My school offers a variety of classes to take both for my major, and also for other electives needed to graduate. NC State is well known for its diversity, and I have learned to appreciate the fact they do so. State has made me a better student in the year and a half I've been there, mainly because the curriculum is so much harder than a lot of "engineering focused" colleges. However, the challenge makes every day more and more interesting and also helps make me a stronger person.

I think the best thing about NC State is the quality of education you can recieve here. There are several legacies to come out of NC State, such as John Edwards and Caterpillar CEO, Jim Owens.

The best thing I love about my school is how helpful faculty/staff can be once you get to know them. I also believe that the help the school makes available (i.e. tutoring services) is very good and benefits all students who apply themselves. The help you can receive from all these resources here are great. It really depends on the student and how they try to get help because resources are plentiful here.

The people. In my department I find the people are generally happy, and I have spent seven semesters enjoying going to class everyday.

Location is the best thing about this school. Raliegh has been ranked one of the best places economicly to live. There are many job opportunities in the research triangle park area.

I like that the school spirit is intense, and I feel my professors really care if i succeed. I also like that they are all very well knowledgable in their areas of teaching.

The united feeling we all feel after any major incident. Tragedies in our nation, at surroundings schools and on our own campus bring us all closer together and help us to grow in respect, understanding and friendship.

I enjoy how close my science classes are and how close it is to my house.

The best thing about my school is the overall spirit. Students, faculty, and alumni truly love the school and spend countless hours making it a better place. There is great pride in the school and strong bonds between students. This makes for a competetive, but cooperative, environment that is essential to strong performance in the classroom, in research, in athletics, and in the arts. Using this pride, students and others band together to give back to the community on campus and in the surrounding communities.

Everyone seems to be so friendly here. NC State offers something for everyone because it is so big. The university strongly recommends finding your own community to be a part of, and I can promise there are enough clubs, sports, etc for someone to feel at home.

I love that fact that NCSU is a career and research-oriented school with many colleges that prospective students can choose from. You have the opportunity to explore your passions, whatever they may be, and to team up with advisors who can help you pin point the perfect academic path for you to reach the goals you've set for yourself.
