Obviously, as with anywhere, you'll get out of it what you put into it, but the community emphasis here is huge! Student leadership is another big emphasis here - we have monthly student leadership inservices and every semester we have a leadership retreat. As the director of one of our organizations here, I have gained so much valuable experience and wisdom! I love our strong academic focus here! I also really appreciate how concerned staff and faculty are with developing lifelong character and integrity in students. This is a place that really prepares students to be successful in their careers.
Probably the people that I meet. I mean, every school is going to have some not so great people, but I would say that the majority here are extremely friendly and want to get to know you as a person.
Unlike many Christian schools, NCU still has a strong majority of staff, faculty, and students who desire to serve God whole-heartedly. It is a very friendly college that does an excellent job of building community. The athletics department is fantastic and has it's priorities in a healthy order. If you want a coach and teammates who will actually care about you as a person and not just as a stat, this is the place for you. If you want small classes and professors who know your name and care about you, this is the place.
The location in the city and the friendliness.
The spiritual aspects and how talented musically we are.
I always brag about the good friends I have, the fun I have in intramurals, the great places to eat around the area, and then just how great the chapel services, or praise gathering nights are.
community
The quality of most of the classes here as well as how committed the professors are to helping students succeed and get grounded in their beliefs both academically and spiritually.
the location of the school and the people. the location of the school could be any more perfect for me. i am down in the city which is nice, being i dont have a car and can walk any where that may need to go. in a ddition, the people at north central are loyal, responsible, and friendly. they are always willing to lend a hand or help with a situation. i have developed some close friends and i believe that i will know them all through college and after.
HOW FRIENDLY PEOPLE ARE, HOW WE AS A SCHOOL ARE RESPECTFUL TO OUR CITY.
