North Georgia College & State University Top Questions

It's kind of hard to get classes and housing as a incoming sophomore. Almost everything gets filled up before you have a chance to get the class. Once you hit a certain amount of hours, you aren't guaranteed housing either.

A person that is not interested in succeeding should not attend.

Those who shouldn't attend this school are people looking to party and have sponsored events on the weekends.

North Georgia is a great school for people who enjoy the outdoors and the rural living. So, if you enjoy a big city, NGCSU is not for you.

I THINK THIS COLLEGE IS GREAT FOR ANYONE; HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK FOR YOUR GRADE AND TRULY LEARN THEN THIS WOULD NOT BE A GOOD SCHOOL FOR YOU. THIS IS A MILITARY COLLEGE; HOWEVER, YOU DO CITIZENS CAN STILL APPLY. THE RULES IN CLASSROOM ARE SAME FOR EVERYONE SUCH AS: CANNOT MISS MORE THAN 2-3 DAYS, CANNOT BE LATE TO CLASS, ETC. IT REALLY PREPARES ONE FOR CORPORATE AMERICA.

Someone who like recreational activites and the military.

A person who is not committed should not attend this school. If you are not committed then you will waste money for schooling that won't matter because you were not committed to your school work and studying.

A person who is solely could up on partying should not come to North Georgia College and State University. Dahlonega, Georgia is a very small town, centered around the campus. The work load is very tough, and one cannot get by on knowledge alone. Alot of work and dedication is needed to succeed at this university.

No student should be discouraged from attending this university, however I would caution any prospective student who is not serious about committing time and energy to their classwork to reconsider going to college until they are prepared to.

This college is a military college, and as such it demands a certain amount of respect for the US armed forces. If you have a serious issue with the military, this is not the place for you. Having the corps present makes this college different than most. If you want to come here, expect to follow the rules and stay on top of your school work. It is a dry, tobacco free campus, and this is inforced.

Some one who is not willing to try.

Party people, People who come with an easy mind (they think it will be easy because it's a small college and it would be easy for them to get a degree fast) and people who are not ready yet for college.

Intellectuals. Liberals.

Being that this is a military college, whomever attends this school should be open to a military presence on campus. Other than that I believe that everyone should attend North Ga. The campus is small, but large enough to have a very active student body. If you are looking to be a person in the classroom rather than a number, North Ga. is for you.

The person that shouldn't attend this school is a closed minded American that is against the US military.

Liberal, gay, minority, and mentally challenged

of any kind of person, but this school is 90{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} middle class, white americans from georgia, and this school is mostly girls

Someone this is interested in partying more than their education
