North Lake College is best known to be a low cost community college. It is thought to be one of the best place to go to do prerequisite classes instead of doing them at a university were the classes would cost more.
North Lake College is best know for the amount of students who finish their Associates and then transfer to a four year university. The counselors are great with informing and helping students transfer. Students who have transfered had come back on Transfer day and have said the North Lake professors have really prepared them for a much bigger school.
