North Lake College is an exciting place to study. Like most campuses, explore the campus and research the professor before just signing up for classes. I've had some great and not so-great instructors.

I wish I would have known that the aritect of the school was really off of his rocker because the building do not make any sense and so you can get lost easily if you don't know where your going.

Split up your hard classes, always utilize test banks, 19 class hours is insane, do take summer classes, student loans won't pay for everything, utilize faculty office hours (they may show pity), never buy books from bookstore, sell books online for more profit, the library keeps textbooks copy from there, buy teacher editions of books if possible, utilize publisher website (teachers use publisher's test bank), utilize group studies (someone may have info you need), and don't be afraid to challenge the professor all the way up to the chancellor.

I wish I had been bettter prepared to juggle schoolwork, my job, and my social life. I also wish I had known which credits would count and which wouldn't (such as my Developmental Math Class).
