Northeastern Illinois University Top Questions

This would be my first year attending this school as a transfer student from a community college. I hope to enjoy my time there.

If you are ready to ask students and professors for any help with class work or registration, they are more than happy to help you. There are many clubs and organizations on campus with a few greek organizations, but there is not a big greek life on campus. This is mostly a commuter school, so there is a designated "activity hour" daily during which there are no classes, which allows clubs to meet and have short events. Other academic events will last 2 days or so to make sure everyone can participate if they want to.

It is afordable, not very expensive. Have a very good reputation. I really love the International Program they offer, so student can study abroad. I also love the shows at the University, plays, jazz, orchestra, free for students.

What is unique about Northeastern is the amount of programs they have in place. Northeastern goes out of the way to let students know what programs are available to help them and make college life a stress free and growing experience for them. In one month's time, I have had the priviledge of speaking to a number of academic adviors, I've been assigned a mentor for my class and major. I have also encountered their leadership programs which offers mentorship and numerous workshops.

Its a commuter University.

Northeastern is a very diverse school, and that makes it different from the other schools i looked in to.

Other universities seem to not engage themselves in collaborating with your college experience. When you enroll in something new you usually need a guide and Northeastern Illinois University counselors are here to help. They guide you and advice you, which is extremely helpful considering the fact that one is new to the college experience. Northeastern Illinois University Offers programs to help students in their everyday lifes, be it tuition assistance, tutoring, jobs, internships, healthcare, copy machines, quite places to study, and a non-distracting environment are amongst the most pleasent critirias about the school.

Northeastern Illinois University has a variety of nice people, from all different countries and cultures. Plus, they have a bachelors program and a masters program for every student who actually diligently applies to Northeastern Illinois University. The staff are very caring and carry charisma too, which I appreciate the courteous treatment that I do not see in Catholic schools. It is a pleasant experience.

ALOT OF DIVERSITY. CLASS ROOM IS SMALLER SO IT IS EASY FOR TEACHER TO FOCUS ON ALL STUDENTS.
