What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Amanda

I feel like I was invest so much in my program alone I was not able to make connections in the other areas of the college. I loved my program but was unable allow the time to venture out as often as I would have liked.

James

It is expensive to go here if you are not wealthy, we have struggled to pay for my education, but it is all worth it

Ashley

The worst thing about NSU is the lack of resources that other larger universities have. NSU is not the "rich" school in Oklahoma and cannot provide everything it wants to for its students. However, that leaves students responsible to find their own ways to get what they want - like internships, studying abroad, and other things of the sort. In a way, this helps build independence and endurance.

Julie

The teachers were not very good at helping the students. The classes were to large.

DaJuan

The worst thing about my school, I had to think hard great school, is they don't have a VA representitive on campus making it really hard to get my military GI bill in on time for money to pay part of th tuition. Also there is not way to enroll on the Universities web site and also add and drop classes. At this particular campus some classes are only offered once or maybe twice a school year.

Thomas

The worst thing about Northeastern State is the overpriced items. Everything is too overpriced for no reason, we are college students so we already do not have alot of money.

katelyn

I live in muskogee yet they do not offer many of the classes I need at this campus. Hence I have to commute to the broken arrow campus.

Joseph

The office moves a tad slow when it comes to business affairs, so make sure all your I's are dotted or it will result in repeat visits to thier offices.

Holly

Parking space. There are not enough parking spaces for commuter students. If you get to the school late or if you don't have your first class till 10:00am you might be driving around for 15 to 45 minutes trying to find a parking spot or waiting on another student to leave to be able to park.

Jamie

I wasn't happy with the living arrangements and meal plans my Freshman year. This howeer was only because I was the only girl in my family and never had to share a room! The meal plans I feel were overpriced and I didn't like that as a Freshman you had to purchase a plan because I never ate on campus enough to justify the money spent on it. I am now in an off campus apartment and love it.

Cory

Small-minded fellow students.

lacey

My school has nothing wrong with is

Brittany

Since our campus is not the main campus, our students miss out on many things that our main campus in Talequah has.

Ruth

I cant think about anything bad about my school.

The mandatory Meal Plans that are set up for students that live in the dorms would have to be my biggest complaint about my school.. They are expensive and for the quality of food it is just a larger expense for me and money that could go to better use. I do believe that seeing that students get well balanced meals is important, but I believe it can be done in a way to save the student money. Money that could be used for other things, like gas and clothes.
